This looks awesome. Is there no way to make it work with MO 2.4??

I am attempting to do so now. However, I have not found a reason not to update MO2. I spoke with the MO2 team before developing this and confirmed it would support all the old plugins. Haven't found one it doesn't yet but let me know. MO2 Discord: https://discord.gg/U6eX5fPf

Well I guess I'm a rarity. I'm still on Win 7 and skyrim 1.5.97.  Don't know how to "Discord" . Thanks anyway

Looks like it requires PyQt6, which MO2 versions earlier than 2.5.x don't include, so in its current state it's only compatible with MO2 2.5+. At least I assume so based on the 'PyQt6 not found' error message I'm getting when launching MO2 2.4.4.

Ah yes. I have the most recent MO2 release. I'm not sure how to make it backwards compatible but I will try.

On a positive note I haven't found a reason not to update to the newest MO2. Let me know! I have updated the requirements section to specify requirements for MO2/PyQt6.

Thanks! I'm a bit cautious about updating MO2 because some plugins I use might not be compatible with 2.5+ or something else might break in ways I can't fix myself, but I guess there's only one way to find out.

Recent updates to solve stability seem to have slowed parsing down a little bit with large file loads so if it seems to stall just let it work. I will try to speed it up if possible. Also let me know user experience feedback.

Introducing Enhanced Drill-Down Capabilities in Log Parsing Manager
We are thrilled to announce new features in the Log Parsing Manager plugin that significantly enhance your ability to analyze and interpret game logs. The latest update introduces drill-down functionality across different parsing windows, allowing you to navigate from general error overviews down to the specific log entries with ease.
New Drill-Down Features:1. Parsing Results Window

    • Overview of Errors:

      • After parsing your logs using any of the parsing methods (Default Parsing, Parse by Specific Keyword, or Regex Match), the Parsing Results window displays a list of extracted errors or log lines.
      • Each item includes the error message and the number of occurrences across your logs.
    • Drill Down to Sentences:

      • New Feature: Click on any error or log line to drill down and view all the specific sentences where this error occurs.
      • Benefit: Quickly identify how and where an error manifests, facilitating targeted troubleshooting.
    2. Sentences Window

    • List of Sentences:

      • Displays all the sentences that contain the selected error or log line from the previous window.
    • Drill Down to Paragraphs:

      • New Feature: Click on any sentence to further drill down and view the full paragraphs or contexts in which the sentence appears.
      • Benefit: Gain deeper insights by seeing the surrounding information, which can be crucial for understanding complex issues.
    3. Paragraphs Window

    • Full Context Display:

      • Shows the complete paragraphs containing the selected sentence, providing the full context from your logs.
      • Benefit: Allows for comprehensive analysis by reviewing the detailed circumstances leading to errors or warnings.

Enhanced Search and Sorting Options:In addition to the drill-down capabilities, we've introduced improved search and sorting functionalities in each parsing window to streamline your analysis process.
    Search Functionality:

    • Instant Filtering:

      • Use the search box at the top of each window to filter results in real-time based on your input.
      • Benefit: Quickly locate specific errors, sentences, or paragraphs without manually sifting through extensive logs.

    Sorting Options:

    • Flexible Organization:

      • Sort your data using various criteria:

        • Frequency (High to Low or Low to High): Organize errors based on how often they occur.
        • String Length (Long to Short or Short to Long): Sort by the length of the error messages or sentences.
        • Alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A): Arrange items in alphabetical order.
        • Most Recent or Oldest First (in Paragraphs Window): Sort paragraphs based on their occurrence in the logs.

      • Benefit: Tailor the data presentation to your needs, making it easier to spot patterns and anomalies.

    How These Features Benefit You:

    • In-Depth Analysis: The ability to drill down from errors to sentences and then to full paragraphs provides a hierarchical view of your logs, enabling you to perform thorough investigations.
    • Efficiency: Quickly navigate through large log files to find the exact information you need, saving valuable time during troubleshooting.
    • Improved Troubleshooting: By accessing the full context around an error, you can better understand its root cause and develop more effective solutions.
    • Customizable Views: With enhanced search and sorting options, you can personalize how information is displayed, focusing on what matters most for your specific situation.
Getting Started with the New Features:

    • Parse Your Logs:

      • Use the Parse Me function on any parsing instance.
      • Select your preferred parsing method.

    • View Parsing Results:

      • In the Parsing Results window, explore the list of errors.
      • Click on an error to drill down to the Sentences window.

    • Analyze Sentences:

      • Review all sentences containing the error.
      • Click on a sentence to drill down to the Paragraphs window.

    • Examine Full Context:

      • In the Paragraphs window, read through the full paragraphs to understand the context.

    • Utilize Search and Sorting:

      • Use the search box to filter results at any level.
      • Apply different sorting options to organize your data effectively.

    Example Use Case:

    • Scenario: You notice an error message appearing frequently in your logs.
    • Step 1: In the Parsing Results window, you see the error listed with a high occurrence count.
    • Step 2: Click on the error to view all the sentences where it occurs.
    • Step 3: Identify a particular sentence that seems unusual.
    • Step 4: Click on that sentence to view the full paragraph and surrounding context.
    • Outcome: You discover that the error occurs when a specific mod or plugin is loaded, helping you pinpoint the source of the problem.
We hope these new features enhance your experience with the Log Parsing Manager plugin and empower you to manage your game logs more effectively. As always, we appreciate your feedback and are here to support you in any way we can.
Thank you for choosing Log Parsing Manager!
