The Miraak Mask ONLY ever comes up with its default magicka addition or a standalone frost resist and frost damage addition. There is nothing at all about the resistances and damage increases for all 3 elements along with shout reduction.
Any ideas what it might be?
EDIT: Skyrim Renewed blocks most of the masks from changing. Morokei seems to go through. Awesome Artifacts WILL change the text BUT will give the buffs from this mod along with the buffs from AA. If you have Miraak equipped prior to turning on AA, it will show this mod's effects in the effects screen but once you unequip and reequip it won't. However, if you check your destruction spell strength, you'll notice that you're still getting the fire/frost/shock damage increases so I can only assume that you're still getting this mod's buffs even if it doesn't show it anymore. Is there anyway to make this mod take priority over AA for the Dragon Priest masks?
You can try playing with the load order. Morokei's changes make it through because USSEP makes the same change (changing the enchantment from simple fortify magicka to the pre-existing enchantment made for it that went unused in vanilla)
I can't seem to get this to work with ICH. I installed the Konahrik Restored version but found that for some reason the compatability patch esp doesn't recognize that version of the main esp as a masters and the game would CTD after 3 seconds, so I downloaded both of the main esps. At this point, the game was able to launch, but my head became invisible and I'm not really convinced the mask existed since it allowed me to equip a helmet alongside the mask. I don't have any mods installed which are affecting dragon priest masks besides ICH, so I don't get why this is breaking. I also tried it with just the main esp (the non-Konahrik-restored version) and the compatability esp, and even without the compatability esp, but that still didn't work and I got the same symptoms as having all three esps downloaded.
Hey, I just wanted to say that this is a great mod and I am truly thankful for it, but I do have a question. Why, if the mod is supposed to give 20% shout reduction, does it say 15% reduction on the mask in my game (morokei specifically)? I have the unofficial patch installed and when I disable your mod it gives the correct 20% from the patch but when I reactivate your mod it goes back down to 15%. Any insight would be appreciated and any possible fixes would be amazing, thanks.
After looking into it more it appears that it is displayed correctly in the active effects tab, but not on the item description itself. I assume that the active effects tab is correct, but I just thought that I would let you know about the error on its description. Thanks.
PS, I'm playing on your mod directly on Bethesda's server if that makes any difference at all.
The active effects tab will always display 20%, they never coded the displayed active effect for shout cooldown reduction to display as anything other than 20% because without mods, everything that reduces your cooldown in the game reduces it by 20%
I can, but it's gonna be OP. I'm talking potentially 0 s shout cooldown before you even go to Solstheim. Because of the way Bethesda calculates this stuff, if you get "reduce shout cooldown" or "reduce magicka cost" to 100%, you have a 0 s shout cooldown or a 0 magicka cost for spells of whatever school it's associated with. That's why armor is capped at a certain point, otherwise you could be invulnerable to physical damage
Looking for input, what's your thoughts on Nahkriin and Vokun being made unarmored? Their enchantments are very mage focused, but I don't know if y'all would prefer to keep them as heavy armor for battlemage purposes.
So I installed the mod (the balanced Konahrik version) and the description of Konahrik didn't change, but the effect did. May be a bug or it's because of some mask mods (hoodless masks I think).
Checked to make sure I changed the description, and it seemed OK. Try switching the load order up a but. Or just live with it if it doesn't bother you. It's possible that the description exceeds some hidden limit, so I may have to reword it
