hello there I want to start by saying I love the textures and what you've done with the outside but when I enter the house the game crashes on the loading screen (ps4 version) anyway you could help me figure it out maybe tell me where to put it in the load order or see if there's any issues....I have nothing interfering with the location except maybe fabled trees but none of the trees were conflicting with the house......please and thanks
When you enter, the CELL changes. WHATEVER is called for in THAT CELL is where you are crashing. Fabeled forest attaches to the EXTERIOR cell of the BYOH locations, not the inside.
I HAVE ZERO idea how to check ANYTHING in a Playstation or an Xbox :) HOWEVER, on a PC, and maybe THIS will give direction, I would 1ST verify game files via Steam. If missing files pop and require, I would log in and check again. IF NOT, I would double check my CC content present to ensure I have what the ESM files call for. The mod states all creations, so something to look into. 2nd Disable all texture mods related to furniture Disable all mods RELATED to items present inside of the home. If a mod uses BOS to change the chandaliers in, say the Blue Keep and Whiterun, etc, it would ALSO detect the lakeview. no, I do not know if BOS works for a console, this is an example to help you paruse your files for mods that might touch A and also, by defacto, Effect B(Lakeview)
This mod looks good so I dl'd, BUT it includes a whole plethora of creation club mods which were not included with the Anniversary Edition release. Until those are separated out as an optional install (A FOMOD where you can choose for each individual mod would be fine)I cannot and will not endorse. AE included only 4 cc mods: Saints & Seducers, Fishing, Rare Curios, and a survival mod. Maybe the console version was different, I don't know.
Yes, I get that all the CC mods are required. This is the first time I've seen that AE means all CC content is required. Generally it's the 4 free CC mods and you can choose more. That's why I will not use this mod. That's why I can't endorse this mod as is. I'm not going to have 80+ mods shoved down my throat or cluttering up my load order. I can do that well enough with mods I choose. It should have been made very clear that over 80 other mods were required. It's a shame, because I like the looks of it.
I understand, we're working on making a more PC friendly version since this has been a PS exclusive for several years and CC is the only way we are able to have assets outside of the vanilla game, it's not in a great place for everyone at the moment but hopefully we'll be able to get that sorted in the next few months, and we'll try to make the install more clear since whatever we have is not sufficient enough and I wasn't aware that 'Install all AE content' means something different on PC. We will do better.
The mod looked almost worth trying after watching a youtube about it. But any mod that requires 80 Plus CC mods is not going in my load order. I play skyrim heavily modded (over 300 plugins and growing on this recent play through alone). I do not have any of these CC mods needed for this house included in my AE install. I sometimes will not even try a mod if it has more than one or two requirements that I do not already use. Im sorry but that is too much too expect. I will not purchase 80 plus mods to have a one house improved. I will be sticking with my two mods that improve Lakeview Manor, just fine. It really is a "crime" that so many paid mods are a requirement. With that said, I wish you luck.
Is the inside furniture optional to place? Do we have the freedom of configuring the interior? I think it looks too cluttered inside. What are those black walls? Stone?
The furniture placement options may have to be patched externally, the three of us have only been working with vanilla assets on Playstation for a few years so we're just barely aware of what's possible with new scripts and stuff, but we are slowly learning. The black wall textures are being replaced in a future update along with quite a few other textures that we aren't as satisfied with anymore.
This mod is awesome!!! So pretty and spacious——thank you so much! A few small suggestions:
1. Could you make a version without the interior spider decorations & the dwarves spider guardians? I trust there’s plenty of others like me who have arachnophobia >~< 2. A version where we can pay to buy the house / raise the price of the land? Or even use construction materials to build the house in various stages ourselves——for immersion purposes I feel this house is too pretty to be offered free loll and Skyrim needs a gold sink already anyways
Hey! I'm sure you already figured this out, but you just need to purchase the land (like you normally would) through the Jarl of Falkreath :) Once you do - just travel to the plot of land and it's there.
Lakeview Manor is a property in Falkreath Hold, north of Pinewatch. It is a home, available with the All the DLC add-on and the anniversary edition. The house is already built, and players are welcome to claim the house just by going inside. Do not build in this area as it will cause clipping issues, You don't need permission from Falkreath's Jarl to claim the home. I hope this answers your question, if not please let me know.

Good luck, post your findings
