The enchantments were made with Miraak's set from Artificer in mind for both the effects used and the general power level of the gear. Most of them are regular Thaumaturgy effects, with a few ones from Artificer and some additions that I created.
By default, the sets DON'T COME with set bonuses, since Miraak's set from Artificer doesn't have one either. I have provided an optional addon that implements bonuses for all the sets listed here. This will make the sets considerably more powerful - possibly the strongest armor sets you can get without crafting -, so I'd only recommend it if you use difficulty mods, especially ones that make dragon priests and dragon priest dungeons tougher.

ADDONS
Vahlok
Vahlok doesn't have a mask in the base game. Both King-Priest and Legacy of the Dragonborn add masks for him; I went with King-Priest for the balancing, since it's more in line with Artificer. Neither King-Priest nor LotD are required for the addon.
- Mask: -25% Destruction cost, +25% Magic resistance (KP) // +20% One-Handed, Illusion, and Enchanting effectiveness (LotD)
- Robes: +50% damage reflection, +10% spell absorption
- Gloves: +100 Armor
- Boots: +25% Stagger resistance
- Set bonus: Vahlok's Edict - -100% magicka and stamina regen to nearby enemies
Suleyk
Suleyk is the dragon priest from Wyrmstooth who also gets an armor set in Armory of the Dragon Cult. You obviously need Wyrmstooth to get the set.
- Mask: Draugr aren't hostile while wearing the mask.
- Robes: You may control 1 additional conjured or reanimated undead minion.
- Gloves: +50% Conjuration duration
- Boots: +50 Magicka
- Set bonus: Suleyk's Weave - +150 armor, +5 health recovered per second to nearby allied undead
NOTE: Suleyk's robe effect stacks with the Necromancer's Amulet from Artificer, but keep in mind that the Amulet only works on reanimated undead, while the robes work on reanimated AND summoned undead (like the skeleton summons from Mysticism or Soul Cairn undead from Dawnguard)
INSTALLATION
Hard Requirements:
- Thaumaturgy
- Artificer
- Armory of the Dragon Cult
- (for the Wyrmstooth addon) the Wyrmstooth addon for Armory of the Dragon Cult (Wyrmstooth is not technically required)
- (for the set bonus addon) KID and both the Vahlok and Wyrmstooth addons (again, Wyrmstooth is not technically required, only the Wyrmstooth addon for Armory of the Dragon Cult)
Soft Requirements:
- King-Priest, Diverse Dragon Priests, or any other mod that makes dragon priests tougher, so the sets feel more earned
- The Dragon Cult, Haugbui, The Restless Dead, or any other mod that makes draugr, and thus by extension, dragon priest dungeons tougher, so the sets feel more earned
- (for the Vahlok addon) King-Priest or Legacy of the Dragonborn, or any other mod that adds a mask for him (I recommend King-Priest)
Make sure that DragonPriestArmor - Enchant Addon.esp loads AFTER DragonPriestArmor.esp, otherwise load order doesn't matter. If using the set bonus addon, load DragonPriestArmor - Enchant Addon - Set Bonuses.esp AFTER the main mod and the Vahlok and Wyrmstooth addons.
COMPATIBILITY
Compatible with any mods that alter dragon priests.
Compatible with mods that change the dragon priest masks, but keep in mind that the armor enchantments were applied with the Artificer versions in mind.
Not compatible with Konahrik's Accoutrements. No, I will not make a patch for it, the two mods do the same thing.
The set bonus addon is currently not compatible with Dragon Priest Hood Variants.
FAQ
- Are the heavy/light versions included?
- Yes.
- Is the mod balanced?
- The balancing should be in line with Thaumaturgy and Artificer. That said, keep in mind that these armors are dropped (or are supposed to be dropped) by high-level bosses, so they are appropriately powerful. The only set where I went overboard with the power level was Konahrik, but I think that is justified, given that you have to defeat all the other dragon priests and finish two questlines to acquire it. That said, if you have any tips to improve the enchantments, feel free to comment.
- Miraak's set from Artificer, which is the only dragon priest set in the mod, does not have a set bonus (even though there is one in the mod's files, but it is not implemented - it adds an additional 15% spell absorb chance). If a new patch for Artificer implements it, I will add set bonuses to these sets as well. I might end up making an addon that adds set bonuses for both the sets included here and Miraak's set, so stay tuned for that.
- Can you make a version that uses vanilla enchantments/is standalone from Artificer?
- No. I personally went with Artificer and Thaumaturgy because the balancing was very clear from the mod pages, and thus saved me a lot of headache trying to balance this mod. If you don't like that, that's fine, you are welcome to make and upload your own version using my mod as a base.
- Vahlok doesn't have a mask in the base game, nor in Artificer, so I had no clue what enchantments would have fit him. I think Legacy of the Dragonborn adds a mask for him, so I'll probably make a compatibility patch for it in the future.
Update: Vahlok now has a full set based on his mask in King-Priest in an optional addon.
- Probably, expect it sometime in the future.
- Can you provide a patch for Reliquary of Myth/any other artifact overhaul?
- My mod is technically compatible out of the box as long as you have the dependencies (Thaumaturgy and Artificer), and you load your preferred artifact overhaul AFTER Artificer.
- Can you make a patch for Konahrik's Accoutrements?
- No. To reiterate ElectricSparx's point, use either this mod or KA. They literally do the same thing, so there is no reason trying to patch them. Otherwise, you are free to attempt to make a patch.
