Look, I get it, you're the Dragonborn. But how do you insert a Dragon Claw in the puzzle door while standing feets away from it?

Look! What is this?



I don't buy it! You must HOLD the Dragon Claw while you insert it!

How about this? Better, right?



It even works with Immersive Interactions - Animated Actions!


What did I do here?

I edited the vanilla script, adding a line of code that prevents the player from moving when activating the keyhole, and then giving player controls back after ~4 seconds.


Installation

Just download it with your mod manager.


Realisms? I need more

I guess there are two modding approaches when we talk about Dragon Claw puzzles aka Halls of Stories.

First approach removes the need to turn the wheels, you just activate the door and it auto-opens if you have the right Claw.
Dragon Claws Auto-Unlock is what comes to mind.
Quick, cool, snappy.

Second approach is hardcore and adds more *immersion*.
You can remove the hints from the Dragon Claws with JS Dragon Claws - No Hints
Make so that the hints can be "read" off the murals on the walls with Halls of Stories Retold - Dragon Claws
Upscale the mural textures in the Halls of Stories with 4k Nordic Murals or Rustic Reliefs so you can see them better
And finally, you can add this mod here to the picture. A final touch, a cherry on top =)
