Okay, here is a stupid question. I'm fairly new to this, but I do understand how spell perk item distributor works, but what does CId do? I'm not sure on this one.
CID as the name suggests, distributes items into containers. SPID cannot do this.
For example, you want to put some gold in all boss chests, CID can accomplish this while SPID can't.
I specifically use CID to distribute to merchant chests because I learned that putting items directly into the merchants on person inventory causes a few minor but annoying problems that CID doesn't have.
I have never understand how SPID works so this is a good time to ask.
Whats the difference between vanilla distribution and SPID distribution? For example: The game already distributes the Backpacks through different vendors and chest, does the SPID files overwrites that or it adds up to the vanilla distribution chance?
It uses a completely different way to add things that is conflict free. Vanilla can have its level lists and such override each other, especially when you have mods that add stuff to level lists. SPID doesn't touch these and therefore way more compatible.
For a better explanation, I'd say to ask on the SPID mod page and maybe you'll get a much better explanation.
Dear friend, excuse my ignorance, I'm looking for a mod that integrates CC Creation Club items into Skyrim organically, however I have a question about whether the mod disables related quests? Or if obtaining some armor will activate said quest?
My mods don't deactivate the quests and but do integrates them more into the game. The only thing I've noticed on my end with my mods is that if you get netch leather, the quest gets added but it doesn't cause any issues.
For mods that add the DLCs more, there's my SPID and CID mods, tamrielic distribution that I use for some things and I'm sure there's a bunch of mods that add CC DLC to the game in more ways. I'd recommend searching the name of the DLC and see what pops up and try whatever you think sounds good.
CID is for merchants going forward as it adds to their merchant chest vs in their on person inventory. I do recommend having CID as its as lightweight as SPID.
My modding skill is limited to textures and simple CK stuff so I have a dumb question: what's a SPID and what does this mod actually do, in terms that anyone can understand?
Thanks. Also with the camping spid will there be a problem with a mod that changes it. this mod- https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/73354

Think of spid as item integration mods
Hi Nite, does this mean I could even get the Advanced version of the camp from them ?
