Also, just realized that LOOT warns of the following:
# ElementalFlying.esp
- CRC: 90D75CFB - Load Order Index: FE 373 - Attributes: Active, Light Plugin
## Messages
- Error: This plugin contains records that have FormIDs outside the valid range for an ESL plugin. Using this plugin will cause irreversible damage to your game saves.
Haven't experienced any issues so far, but it's probably best to not have this as an ESL plugin, or try to find out what is causing it. Thanks!
Edit: I tried fiddling around with the .esp file in xEdit, and apparently "__airGroundGV" seems to be the issue. xEdit won't allow me to re-save the file as an ESL while this record is there. Probably best to not have it be an ESL until this is resolved just in case this breaks something. Removing the ESL tag from the .esp makes the error go away in LOOT, so there's that as well.
This means that the mod is not well compacted. You don't just put an esl flag without first compacting formIDs. LOOT giving this warning means the formIDS are out of the esl range, even using BEES.
Thanks for this mod, I really enjoy it! Other than not being able to find the MCM menu (see my other comment before this one), everything seems to work as intended. I also LOVE that you can still fire spells at enemies on the ground even though you are flying! I do have a few recommendations/ideas that you might want to consider, so please see below:
Like other people mentioned, more kinds of effects, like smoke, lightening, other colours, etc. I think you did say you were planning to add these in the future anyways, so... Awesome!
Instead of it having a separate power for each different effect (currently one fire and one sakura), have only one power in the inventory but then have the effects be changeable/togglable in MCM. This is because if you were to add, say, 10 different effects, there would be 10 separate powers that all basically do the same thing. It would be a lot of clutter in the inventory, so this is much cleaner for the user.
Lower the amount of light these effects give off. Especially the flame effect, you can see it casting light almost 100m away, which is a bit much. Edit: I changed light the value in xEdit from the original of around 6000 to 1024 (2x a regular torch) and this seems to be a nice balance between still being bright while not also being too extreme.
The fire mode's sound effect has a very clear loop cut-off that is abrupt in its sound and gets a little annoying if flying for a while.
Add an MCM toggle or possibly change the default setting to be Manual Flying Mode instead of Auto Flying Mode, as the Auto Flying Mode is a bit confusing at first use. First time I used it, I thought things were broken and almost deleted the mod because of it (they weren't, I was just confused why I was moving and couldn't stop).
Change it into a spell from a Spell Tome that is togglable instead of a power, maybe? If you do, change it into a spell, then having separate spells be different effects is fine (unlike in my second point).
Have it not be given to you automatically (or at least togglable in MCM). This is probably good for testing, but it is not very immersive when playing a normal game in my opinion. If you do turn it into a spell, put the books somewhere difficult to access in the world, as this ability is quite powerful.
If changing it to a spell, have it use mana intead of it being completely free (possibly togglable in MCM, perhaps).
Have the speed be configurable from MCM.
(Less important) Improve the localization text to be more lore friendly instead of "_ElementalFlying_sakura 239976 hours", etc.
Finally, I'm not sure if it's this mod or something else, but I did notice that my character was walking slightly faster than usual. Is that from a possible unintended side effect of this mod?

and this is how to get :
you can buy them from magic vendors, that sell spells
if you dont find them there.
type in the console
help "mist flight"
then type
player.addspell xxxxxx, the x being the ID of the spell.
same for the spell configuration
for purple chest :
go to data/meshes/clutter and delete the folder "container"
go to data/meshes/armor and delete folder "amuletsandrings"
Thanks again, cheers!
If you don't mind, can you make a magic spell without particles?
I'd like to use it for a video.
Data\meshes\_HF_mod\MagicEffect\flying\flameFlying1.nif
A bat or butterfly version might be nice ;)
