    If you have animations that change the way torches are held and it looks goofy i.e. holding it sideways, add these under conditions in OAR. Will block animation when the lantern is equipped as a torch.

    Hi author any chance to get and SMP version for the lanterns? 

    There's already one here Handheld Lanterns - HDT-SMP BUT it doesn't work, was thinking you could check it and fix it since it looks like most of the work is done already, author stated that he has open permission too.

      Handheld Lanterns works. Just follow the steps of the mod and it should be good.

      You got the handheld lanterns with physyics working while holding it in hand in your game?

      I've tested that my patch works, but you need to re-equip the lantern by clicking in inventory after using the spell/power. For some reason, the script attached to the lantern doesn't fire when it's first equipped, so it has to be done again. HDT-SMP requires this script workaround to make anything held in hands have physics.

      The lanterns work with NPCs, unfortunately I've not been able to get SMP physics to work with NPCs, so they're a bit stiff.

    I know I must be doing something dumb, but I can't get this to work on the player.  I equipped a remastered lantern, hotkey the dynamic spell, but the spell doesn't seem to do anything.  I checked with modex the esp, it does have a specific lantern to add.

    Am I understanding correctly that the right behavior using this mod is that it turns off once the character puts it on the hip?

    Does this mod turn off the latern when stealthing? Trying to find a mod that does that, that isn't the original wearable lanterns (buggy).

    Maybe im dumb but... Equip lantern. *No lantern oil* i have lantern oil. 

    Edit Yes i was dumb and tired. To othes read instructions if lantern wont work for player..

    From time to time I'm getting guards using the torch animation but without torch or lantern equipped.

    I don't have IED installed, so honestly idk where the behavior is coming from exactly. Any ideas? :|

    Edit: okay, I've seen it happen in real time and I think, what's happening is the NPC is carrying the lantern and maybe running out of oil, thus the lantern is unequipped but the NPC remains stuck on the "lantern carrying animation"? Do NPC lanterns consume oil?

    Does anyone perhaps know what would cause an NPC to look like they are holding the lamp but still have it attached to their hip?

    Hi I have a question in regards to the requirements. I know we require the ESL version of the original Simple Wearable Lanterns, but on the original authors page it states the ESL Version requires the main file. Would I be correct in saying it requires both files then yours overwrites/loads after the Plug-ins ?

    if the player pulls out a weapon should the lamp go to my hip like for npcs?
    Also this power doesnt seem to do anything when i use it anyone else have the same thing?
