This was written in the Github changelog for 2.6.0-beta but not a lot of people read those so here's the answer; there was animation bloating from duplicate FNIS animation lists being recognized (including copies/backups), 2.6.0-beta and later puts them down to what they should be normally.
I would really appreciate any help, because Im completely lost at this point, and dont know what Im missing.
Only two mods are showing up when I run Pandora, and when I click run, it loads "0 total animations" 1) XPMSE Patch for Pandora 2) Pandora Base
Im using Vortex (I manually installed Pandora, and set up as a tool in Vortex) Target: C:\Games 2\Mods\Pandora 2\Pandora Behaviour Engine+.exe Command line: -o:C:\Games 2\Mods\Pandora Output Start In: C:\Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data
I can see animations listed in C:\Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data, so my question is why are no mods showing up? Am I missing something?
Well, I deleted the command line, and it loaded just fine. Still not showing any mods other than the two I first mentioned. Should it automatically detect the mods if I have it pointed to the data folder?
Before I could get it to work in this way I did have to delete all Pandora related files, because I'd tried it the way it describes in the mod description and just couldn't get it to work properly. Then I reinstalled it as a mod in vortex, and pointed Target to the exe, and that's all.
I'm having this same issue. It doesn't show 0 animations, it shows some 5100. But it only lists 2, when I have several, and I just added a new pack, and the number of animations didn't change.
Not sure if it will help your situation, but I would try putting your games somewhere other than {c:programfiles(x86)}. That folder is protected, and often times prevents mods from working. However, the only way to move them as far as I know, is to completely uninstall Steam and point it to a different directory. Not the most convenient thing to do.
My Vortex is also reporting that I'm missing dependencies for XP32. It says I need FNIS or Nemesis, even though I have Pandora installed which should be supported also.
Will that cause problems, and is there a way to remove that error message?
in the 3.0 version, nemesis and fnis folders are not written in the output so a lot of animations, particularly from bfco and a few OAR, are not working properly,i even uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch and they are still not working, the work perfectly fine if i revert back to the previous version tho
Also have this issue. Seems none of the male animations are playing either, they're all ice skating even on a fresh install of the game. Reverting back to the previous beta fixes it.
Newbie here...Do I only install .NET Runtime 8.0.16? What about .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.16, ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0.16, and SDK (8.0.116, 8.0.312, 8.0.409, 8.0.313, and 8.0.410)?Thanks for the clarification.
I am absolutely blown away with this mod. It works so well and fast. I can't believe how much better my game is handling the animations. I have had FNIS and Nemesis stitched together for a long time with instructions in case I had to reinstall them and struggled to remember how to handle the creatures meshes, etc. This mod works without any hassle. Thank you and all of your testers, I just happened to learn of your mod through a YouTuber named Haunt. Finally, my modlist is becoming more and more up-to-date.
Ok. So I'm mega-confused, as I knew I'd be before I started.
I deleted FNIS, and manually removed the files indicated.
Now, install with vortex, and it says "Install outside the mods folder." It might as well say "Gorilla raccoon, giraffe cosplay giggity" cause that makes as much sense to me. It sounds like downloading it manually and putting it anyway you please, then adding it as a tool. Sorry for being stupid, but I am (and if it is that simple, sorry for being confused. the videos I mention below both said "put it in your data folder" which saeems very clear, but I figured if that's what you actually meant you would have said it.
I tried to watch a youtube vid on installing it. one was VERY old and went so fast I really couldn't follow. The other showed the output folder and the -o thing pretty well, so I think I get that, but talks about OAR being needed, which isn't mentioned in the mod description page. What is OAR? Do I need OAR, and when I was browsing the Ashe follower mod, one of the comments talked about an upgrade to OAR. Since I have no clue what OAR was it only vaguely touched upon gray matter. If OAR is needed, would I be better off going back to find out what the name of that upgraded mod is and using that instead?
Download Pandora manually, extract to a different folder, don't install via Vortex. Add a new tool within Vortex, and the 'target' path should be to Pandora (wherever you placed it). Then, for 'start in,' it should point to your Skyrim install's Data folder. Add the output path "-o:path/to/your/output/folder" in the 'Command Line' field. Hit save, run Pandora. Bing bang bong, you're beautiful.

It only runs if I keep it as I have in my original comment
