As a request... regarding the PBR complex material issue with these rocks. Since they use a texture that most PBR overhauls are going to try and convert with parallaxgen. they will always come out borked especially in sunlight when using grass lighting mod.
I would think a simple fix would be to take a texture source, rename it and place it in a file path that would not be accessed and converted for pbr.
trying to use grass lighting on these grass rocks turns them bleach white in sunlight. they are fine in shade, but not in sunlight. please and thank you
Not sure exactly how to patch this properly, but had the same issue and one thing you can do is remove these from parallaxgen. You can either just delete the converted nifs from the parallaxgen output folder each time you run it or you can add the nifs to the NIF blocklist under advanced options in the parallaxgen launcher GUI so that you don't need to do that each time you rerun it.
I have tested the mod with all versions. I noticed that all size arr working, except the base one. Only the small and large versions are working. With the normal one, the texture is not applied corectly on all the shape of the rocks, and some of them have black patch as a result . I also suggest to use the dense pluggins of either small or large versions of the base mod, otherwise the rocks will be barely noticeable. All in all, this mod is an improvement over the Dr Jacopo mod, as now the rocks are now more integrated into the landscape.
I found how to do it without using this mod, just go in the textures directory of the original 3d rock mod and replace rocksgrass01 with the mountain texture called mountainslab01 in your mountain mod (make sure to rename the mountainslab01 to rocksgrass01 so it uses this texture).

Can you do a "large" or medium size, matching mtn textures too? or make a mod that replaces JUST the "use your own mountain textures" path, for all of them.

I tried your mod and got a bunch of black rocks particularly ones in the water. (someone below mentioned its because i use the newest version of 3d rocks)
was hoping you could help me get 3d rocks to use my mountain mod appearance.
the mod author states
"In the Library - Meshes, find the rock and pebble models with the _MS suffix. Remove the _MS suffix. The game will now use your mountain slab textures."
however, If I remove the suffix from a file, it asks to replace another file with the same name. Should I replace it? For example, if I remove the suffix fromrockgrass01_MS, it asks to replacerockgrass01. do i let it ? was thinking you might know
you should make a mod that just makes it so the rocks use your textures and make a version for every size since the mod doesn't seem to use your textures
The original mod has been updated with many more different density versions and updated models. Now, I don't know what to choose. What are your recommendations ?
It could be, will look into expanding into other worldspaces, the main mod is the good Dr's but they have lots to work on already.
