First of all, can I mention I love Akosy Place. Most exciting Skyrim experience in a while! This is a mod I never thought I needed until I saw it. Accessing the rooftops opens up all new horizons for my character and also makes for some beautiful screenhots. Thanks!!
Oh my God, I love this mod. I've always thought that the rooftops of Windhelm needed to be accessible. And this mod is just... amazing. It's what I've always wanted to do. I suppose my only problem is that my followers don't seem to understand how to climb up the rooftops with me, nor enter Akosy home. I also really enjoyed the acid trip, XDDDD. I think it would be so cool to see that become a quest of sorts. I saw that you did this for other cities, so I think I'm going to do myself a huge favour and download those as well <3
Hi, The reason why you cannot use followers: I am lazy. I didn't do the navmeshes in the player's home, and navmeshes for the roof would be a little buggy - as you must jumpa a lot, your follower would certainly fall often. Thank you (and all the other people) for your appreciation. Best regards
I absolutely love your deadly shadows riften version but i am using open cittys. Could you please make the other deadly shadows versions open cittys compatible ? this would be awsome !
Some news for Open Cities: Tried to copy/paste from cities worldspace to Tamriel/open cities, but too much work -too much bugs/bad selections/bad paste: endless screams. I began to work on a light version for Open Cities: no player homes, very limited Windhelm, and began a complete redo of the Deadly Shadows serie for JK's Skyrim. But I'm currently very busy in a music studio project (lost under hundreds meters of cables), so Skyrim is not my priority for the next weeks. Will try to do my best, but it mean only a couple of hours in the CK each week-end. Did I tell you about my speed at work? Like a snail!
!!! SPOILER AHEAD !!! haha lovely mod! that massive lurker head peering through the window, scared the crap out of me, also all those crazy voices in there, was really cool.
1.few issue i got ATM is the area above Belyn Hlaalu house conflicts with Dawn of skyrim. 2.the Stonewall & Roof ledge between "blacksmith quarter" & "the white phial has no collision,when jumping on it from above. 3.side wall above white phial, to the left has invisible roof meshes which you can fall through. 4.between "viola giordano" house & "temple of talos" on the roof, seems it should have been blocked off due to impassable wall/terrain below, between the houses.
Thank for your report, I will try to fix those bugs. I don't have Dawn of Skyrim for now but will load it in the CK to see. The zone including Hjerim and Viola's house is a mess in the vanilla game. Windhelm is the worst modelled city, Bethesda hasn't finished the models, looks like they were in a hurry. It's very hard to do something without changing things too much, as I intend to keep most vanilla/other mods compatibility.
I must admit I always stop Calixto's murder frenzy by standing on top of one of the market stall awnings and casting frenzy at him. Guard usually gets him.
