Right. Now that we got all the important stuff out of the way, I will explain a few aspects of this mod.

Description:

  • First and foremost, I have renamed "Imperial Credits" to "Galactic Credits", as it is a currency that the Empire has created, but had been adopted by everyone. Since the Rebel Alliance (Stormcloaks) also use it, I wanted to avoid any confusion. The bags in which they come in have not been renamed, at least not by me. Avenger86 changed the name to "Credit Pouch" and it bears the Galactic Credits insignia
  • The value of each individual Credit (Septim) has been increased significantly, which hopefully reflects more accurately. Assuming each gold coin is worth 100 instead of 1, (due to inflation and whatnot) it can be assumed that the new type of currency, which should be more valuable is worth 1000 gold. I should warn you that I am a bit lazy to add different values in the interest of time, so if this mod feels too broken and you are getting rich too quickly, then you can edit this mod as you see fit using SSE Edit or use it to raise the prices at merchants. I apologize for any inconvenience. If you don't know what to do with all that extra dough, I would consider storing it in one of the chests of your Hearthfire cottage to give to your children in the near future. Not only will they be extremely grateful but you will also accrue a helpful stat boost. That said, the decision is ultimately yours. However, the one upside to this mod is that if you have a massive bounty in any of the holds, it will be that much easier to pay it all off, plus merchants will likely have deeper pockets now, which means you will be able to buy out their entire stock, then resell those goods to improve your speech skill faster.

Beyond that, there really isn't much else to say. However, I will suggest a few other mods below in order to make your experience more immersive. Enjoy!

Recommended Mods:

  • Star Wars Redux 2022 at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
  • Use the Force Skyrim at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) (Adds a Jedi Temple near the town of Falkreath, complete with both Jedi and Sith trials, along with a cantina (Praxeum) which contains four unique Jedi followers: An Argonian, a female Breton, a High Elf, and a Dunmer. Note that in order to gain access to the Praxeum, you will first need to complete the light side trials and find the key, which is near the end once you've defeated the Sith Emperor. They will not be wearing the same robes as you if you are using pande4360's Jedi Redux mod, but you are welcome to equip them with them should you so desire. They also are not carrying lightsabers, but will automatically equip the strongest weapon you give them.
  • Basically any Star Wars mods you install. I figured I'd throw a few suggestions your way, just to make it easier, but while you don't necessarily need the first two, it makes the overall experience feel more immersive and less lore-breaking.

Known Issues:

  • To address the elephant in the room, as I previously explained, this will make you extremely rich, extremely quickly. I'm not sure if this will affect coinpurses as well, as I couldn't be bothered to edit them, but I assume since each bag contains anywhere from 10-100 Gold, that you will be wealthier than every Jarl and merchant in Tamriel combined.
  • As I have published this mod prior to collecting a coin bag, I do not currently know how things balance out in the grand scheme of things. I am starting a new playthrough, as several of the mods I downloaded yesterday had been affected by a corrupted save file. As soon as I return to the game and collect a coin purse, I will most likely consider this issue resolved.
  • This is based on a mod originally intended for the classic version of Skyrim. If you are experiencing any issues, please direct them to me whenever and wherever possible.
