Hey, Google! Love your mods! I'm having the same Random Conversions issue that CentauriSoldier is having in the bug reports section. I started a new game and was wandering around with 196 coins in my inventory when suddenly a bunch of bills were "added" to my inventory. The mod seemingly randomly converted 195 of my 196 septims into bills, even though I had never even talked to a steward before in my playthrough (so the issue is certainly not script delay). It sucks because I would love to use this mod, and everything else works perfectly. Any idea what could cause this?
Edit: Still haven't talked to a steward yet, but I discovered that every time I enter the dialogue menu with an NPC, all of my gold is converted to bills. Edit 2: To be more specific, it's actually every time I *exit* dialogue with an NPC (that is, when I close the dialogue menu).
Can't seem to exchange paper back to coins. But when i exchange for paper, it says i get paper. Then i immediately exchange for coins, it says i got coins. Unfortunately, when i look at my inventory, everything turned back into paper. It wouldn't be a real issue if there aren't many dialogue options and money spending opportunity that thinks that i have 0 coins. (from various mods, maybe it is somehow conflicting?)
Using latest version on a new game btw. Wonder if other mods are conflicting and causing this to happen.
Will try deleting the file that spawns paper currency in the world to see if this fixes the issue.
edit: would be great if there is an option to permanently stop auto conversion to paper
I really like this mod having the paper bills but it don't work with More Hud. The amount of gold almost stays at zero as you collect coins as shows some but goes away quickly as it is changed into bills. Is there any way this could be compatible with More Hud SE?
is it a mod that let everyone accept paper money? if not is it to a way to disable it? the banking system is amazing I just have other mods that need me to have gold on hand like simple taxes. and I don't care about losing all my gold as the 2 percent interest rate would make up for anything I lost.
Try Skyrim Currency System - you do have to remove the files gpdialogueconvert and gpbarterconvert from the scripts and scripts/source folders for this mod, but then you use SCS to add the paper money to its system, and then, like Todd Howard says, it JUST WORKS. Definitely recommend Currency Swapper and all the mods based on it, you can leave them out of SCS and they'll work as intended and then regular merchants who accept normal Septims will accept everything from SCS and you'll have to convert to/from the other currencies when necessary. It has really brought the economy to life, and mods like Trade Routes and Trade and Barter really make the world feel alive.
I know recently there was a mod that can dynamically swap currencies. I was curiously wondering if you were going to attempt an integration with that? I could be mistaken on how it works, but I think that it would be a really cool update.
I was using also: Coins of Tamriel v4 (weighed coins).
The NFF, has the option to share loot with the followers, which helps to increase 'regard' points. But if I carry a boatload of bills, since they get converted to septims "on the fly", the game registers that I just happened to loot 200k, every time I interact with an NPC or thing that needs money to operate, and makes a pop-up asking to share loot. This can get... well, worse than an encyclopedia door-to-door salesman, definitely not nice.
So I think I'll have to go back to "ethereal" coins.
I guess that a patch would be really nice to have.
Aside from that, I love the piggy bank here. When I need money, I just pull some from the interests, and that's it
Also, the 'share loot' only gives a health bonus by what I read in the description. I guess the usefulness depends on the gameplay style (for example low. lvl hard to get exp. points would definitely benefit more)
Hello. Have you found a fix for this? I am having the exact same issue in a modlist im playing. We found that it happened when i accidentally pressed to favourite the agreement letter - if that helps any.
Dumb question here, I guess, but my brain sometimes farts ='(
Can I use this mod with Imperial Mail?
Your mod is a bit more polished to me, but I miss the ''mail'' services and all... I guess I have to overwrite Imperial Mail with your mod if both can play together, right?
Thanks a lot for your mod, it is pretty good and Skyrim NEEDS a banking system =P I mean, an Empire ruling for centuries can't live on without a central bank system, I believe ^^
Quick question is it possible for me to make an npc that is not stewards to do the banking? Because I think the solitude expansion mod adds a literal bank but I'm just struggle to make the customer service worker offer the aspect of this mod. Ironic enough, it's that bank that they add into the expansion of the city makes me look up and find this mod x))). If you can hit me with a few hint of how I can make an NPC of my choice to offer the bank aspect of this mod like the stewards I will really appreciate it, it is just weird borrow money from steward but can't from a literal bank. Oh and I mean creation kit wise I'm suspecting it's the gp quest one because when I search the steward proventus and look for user I find that gbquestbank which is probably the one involving in it but I'm not too sure just suspicious. And one last thing when I tried to borrow over 8000 gold my gold count got bugged and reduced to 4 or 3 or 2 gold sometimes 1 but when I try to shop the money is what it is suppose to be the only bug is when I try to rent a room or buy horse or anything that cost money without shopping mechanic I just can't because seems like that read how much gold I carry and it says I carry 4 instead of the true value. Is that normal or did I do something wrong?

I have an issue when using:
- Nether's Follower Framework, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18076
- This mod, since it uses the paper money.
