Description:
This mod borrows elements from the original Auri AI Dismount Fix as well as Thistlefoot is Totally Stable Mount fix mod, as well as adds more additional fixes that neither of them have.
Honestly I was working on this mod for a while in my personal mod order and I didn't know Thistlefoot Is Totally Stable (Actual Auri Mount Fix) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) existed!
However, I did borrow some elements from it, and modified and enhanced some things. So please go and endorse the mod for it's contributions.
Features:
-Auri properly dismounts and mounts when the player does
- Dynamically excludes Auri from the follower horse aspects of Nether's Follower Framework (from Thistlefoot stable mod)
- Thistlefoot doesn't die and is its own persistent reference now (thank you Thistlefoot Stable mod)
-Auri mounts are more snappy and quicker
--The penultimate Fix for disabling the Convenient Horses "buy a mount" dialogue from showing up (needs Convenient Horses Blacklist Framework at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) ). All previous Convenient Horses Auri fixes didn't work because the faction was re-applied upon rehire, or there was a race condition with the faction being removed vs. being applied again on game launch from the Convenient Horse alias.
-Auri no longer is "swimming" in the air after fast travelling mounted ( works well with Fast Travel by Horse SE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com))
-There is less of a delay with the summoning FX and Thistlefoot being moved to Auri
- if Thistlefoot is nearby, Auri will just run and mount to Thistlefoot instead of always summoning him(her?) for immersion purposes
Installation:
Should work fine in an new or existing save. If you have Thistlefoot is Totally Stable already installed or the Auri AI Dismount Fix, just have this mod load after it (both esp and mod file contents).
Compatibility:
- Thistlefoot Is Totally Stable (Actual Auri Mount Fix) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) not necessary, but just load my mod after it if it's already in an existing save
-Auri - Dismount AI fix at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) you can safely uninstall it
-Auri - Thistlefoot Should Stay Outdoors at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) unnecessary, as Thistlefoot no longer follows, but if already installed in an existing save, make my mod load after it.
-Auri - Convenient Horses Patch at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) Does not consistently work, my fix supersedes this mod.
-Auri - Convenient Horses SPID patch at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) does not consistently work, my fix supercedes this mod.
-Refined Auri - Convenient Horses Patch at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) doesn't work since it just sets the faction rank to 0 while the dialogue condition checks if the follower has the faction at all. and also superceded by my mod. it also only worked on a specific Auri NPC replacer.
-Nether's Follower Framework at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) works and is compatible.
-Amazing Follower Tweaks SE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) compatible, but manually add her to the TweakIgnore faction if you'd like (keep in mind this makes her totally unmanaged by AFT)
