This mod here comes without own meshes. If you have ivy animations without this mod, you should have them with this mod also. There are so many stonewall options around, so I am not really sure where there are animations included
Hi! I was wondering if you mod is supposed to overwrite the original mod? I see that it doesn't overwrite it and parallaxgen is only overwriting the original mod but not your mod
That is totally fine. ParallaxGen is overwriting the original meshes and references my textures. PBR textures always use other paths than non-pbr. Like textures/pbr/...
Just want to check does this cover both variants available in the High Quality Ivy FOMOD as I usually pick variant 2 whilst the screenshot looks like variant 1.
Your comment made me overhaul the complete mod. I have not yet tested much, but it should look even nicer. Any feedback is very welcome. Please note, you have to rerun ParallaxGen if upgrading from version 1.0
I am not using those mods, so can only do a (half-way) educated guess. Option a) Those mods make use of the same textures. If you run parallaxgen the PBR textures will be used and applied to the meshes used by those mods. Everything looks neat and nicely PBRed Option b) Those mods use other textures than those I have provided here. Then nothing bad will happen, only the non-PBR textures will be used.
However, option c) can always happen, which is something breaks as it is modding Skyrim :-)
I would love to give you a really good answer on this, but I can share only my experience as a user. I have created or started to use PBR versions of most textures of my modlist. I have observed that CS 1.0 has several new rendering features (like volumetric lighting, screenspace shadows, or screenspace reflections) which cost a bit of rendering time. I did not not notice performance drops using particular PBR mods. This is of course no full benchmark and only reflects my setup using a 4070 and playing on VR. But I never had the feeling I would need to disable PBR mods to gain performance.

i'm thinking on giving it a try on PBR, but i'm not sure if my RX 5600XT will handle it
PBR looks so beautiful
