About this mod

After a discussion with my best friend, we came up with some ideas. This mod offers some adjustments to robes that give a cost reduction to specific schools to make them more appealing to actually use. As well as allowing all the different colored robes to be crafted with unenchanted versions to apply our own enchants and keep the cosmetic look.

Long story short, I talked to my best friend about how we never use anything but destruction robes. He also didn't like the fact that the colors are restricted to tiers. So, I set out and made some adjustments to tackle both these things.

Robe Adjustments

The school specific robes which include Restoration, Conjuration, Alteration, and Illusion have been changed to also have an additional modifier on top of their base stats as follows:

- Vanilla Minor Tier (-12% School cost, +50% Magicka rate.) 
  Modded Minor Tier (-12% School cost, -6% Destruction Cost,+50% Magicka rate.)

- Vanilla Basic Tier ( -15% School cost, +50% Magicka rate.)
 Modded Basic Tier (-15% School cost, -8% Destruction Cost,+50% Magicka rate.)

- Vanilla Major Tier ( -17% School cost, +50% Magicka rate.) 
 Modded Major Tier (-17% School cost, -9% Destruction Cost,+75% Magicka rate.)

- Vanilla Eminent Tier ( -20% School cost, +50% Magicka rate.) 
 Modded Eminent Tier (-20% School cost, -10% Destruction Cost,+100% Magicka rate.)

- Vanilla Extreme Tier ( -22% School cost, +50% Magicka rate.)
 Modded Extreme Tier (-22% School cost, -11% Destruction Cost, +125% Magicka rate.)

- Vanilla Peerless Tier ( -25 School cost, +50% Magicka rate.) 
 Modded Peerless Tier (-25% School cost, -13% Destruction Cost, +150% Magicka rate.)

While nothing will ever surpass the Archmage Robes. This makes the alternatives enticing to play around with another school on top of destruction, until you get it.

Robe Crafting

You may now craft unenchanted versions of all colors and styles of robes. This includes hooded and unhooded robes, as well as their accessories like hoods and boots for example. I have added the cut versions of robes, boots and hoods as they all function in game without issue. They just aren't or are rarely distributed. Recipes will appear in the tanning rack and cost various amounts of Linen Wraps. Recipes will not appear without a Linen Wrap In your inventory in order to avoid cluttering the crafting menu. Robe crafting should seamlessly stay out of the way, since the average player doesn't pick up these items. Carries over some minor keyword fixes from USSEP but does not require it.

As of 1.0.1 Linen Wrap has had its weight reduced to 0.01 so you can carry a bunch of these without the constant annoyance of over encumbrance. 

FAQ

Aren't there other mods that add crafting and more?

Yes. And you can use those if they interest you. We wanted this small mod with a few things. So, that's what I put together. Most other mods of this sort come with bloat and extra stuff or requirements we simply aren't interested in.

I don't like your changes. They are too strong / too weak.

Leave some feedback. Maybe I'll agree with you. If I don't, open SSEEdit and have a field day. You can change the percentages to whatever you want then.
