I've been thinking about how to bring the original Volkihar concept to life (Harkon's clan could be presented as an offshoot that went west, or just re-retconned into non-Volkihars), and it finally dawned on me that the best way would be to place spawnpoints on ice and when you walk close a Volkihar would emerge using the ash spawn rising animation. They could be icy blueish-white retextured ash spawn that use blood and frost magic. There aren't many frozen lakes in Skyrim but Yorgrim would work, and other non-lake locations could be used for variety.
The Dark Face bug is because none of the NPCs in the mod have Facegen meshes or textures generated for them; it doesn't take long to fix in the Creation Kit.

I'd love to see you make a mod in this series that adds the nordic Clever Men back into Skyrim. They were such a cool part of Pre-TESV Skyrim lore that they really ought to be brought back.
