So, to anyone using this mod still; the the hint regarding the key isn't an exact location. You have to use context clues, and instead of fast traveling; try traveling by foot.
On the other note, the Lolicept Resource Pack does exist; you have to get the version from the Oldrim Nexus. Any concerns can be mitigated by running the resources through CAO.
Yes, He was headed to Karthwasten and never made it. coming from Ralendam Estate, just before it turns toward Karthwasten, there is a sign pointing to Markarth. Take that fork toward Markarth. He is in the road, dead. it took me hours to find.
It's a nice idea but the clue (not much of one, I was searching Karthwasten for ten minutes) didn't spawn so I had to console command it (and the key, when I couldn't find Berecard's body at all), half the resources from other mods weren't packaged with it so since one of them is no longer available that means there's a lot of invisible containers about, and the fireplaces won't really turn off at all like I assume they're meant to.
Nice idea for a mod, needs some serious brushing up first.
This might have been much more popular if anyone could've freaking found the key. You gave no clues beyond the name of a village. Is it on a corpse? Is the corpse somewhere in the village? Is it on the way to the village? If so, what direction?
Come on dude, this is ridiculous. Give more specific hints or add a quest marker.
One problem though; your mod uses resources from those packs in the description, but doesn't actually include them in the file. If you don't download the resource packs separately, a lot of stuff is invisible. I don't know if that was intentional and you forgot to mention that the resources are required, or if you forgot to include them in your file.
Also, the fireplaces don't turn off for me. Small issue, and it's possible that it may be due to some other mod I have.
Thank you for the home. Just a head's up, Berecard's note did not show up on the front steps for me, I ended up console controlling it to my character. There's a possibility that it was displaced (Some vanilla bandits are nearby),but I don't think any of the fighting was close enough to the house to affect it.
As a matter of fact, no. He is not supposed to be in there. That's actually really confusing, since Nagrub is a vanilla NPC that lives in Dushnikh Yal over near Markarth, on the complete opposite side of the Reach, really. So I have absolutely no idea what he's doing there.
Very interesting indeed. Well then besides all that, the mod is great. Everything worked fine and my follower was able to navigate the house perfectly by the way. Thanks.
