In that case, you can ignore the update, until you start a new game, and you won't miss out on anything. This update was purely cleaning some leftover scripts that weren't used anymore, but didn't add any new content or features.
Certain factions I guess. I'm not sure. I'll need more information from you, as I cannot replicate this on my end. If you make a profile containing a barebones load order with just this mod, do you still have this issue?
Not compatible (sort of) with Settling of Squad - Set Follower Home. Housecarls going at their original city after dismissing instead of staying in setted home.
Okay I wanted to try before and seems there is no need to make any patch. Apparently works out of the box (I tested and Lydia is happily wandering around Whiterun before the Jarl quest).
Will check the other cities but seems it's automatically compatible
I've purchased Honeyside and became thane but Iona prefers to stay at the temple of Mara. Is that normal? I've no mods like Free Housecarls or Housecarls Have Lives. Does the mod conflict with Immersive citizens maybe?
I had that behavior with Lydia, just standing outside Whiterun forever... until I found that I had a conflict between fortified Whiterun and Khajiit Has Wares, which was breaking the navmesh and preventing any NPC from going in and out of whiterun. changing that load order fixed the issue and now Lydia comes inside the city limits with her usual routine.

But damn it I've already started my playthrough
One way to fix it is to just go and punch a guard once, pay the bounty (usually it is zero) and approach the attacking npc again.
is already included in 2.0?
I can try my hand at a patch if you cannot
