I've just released Better Frost, a new Frost mod here on the Skyrim Special Edition Nexus. Better Frost will also open up more ways to customize the horses in Winterhold. Feel free to check out my other mods and please don't forget to endorse the mods if you like them.
The new update moves the Greenhouse to the Temple of Jhunal and overhauls the Temple. It also introduces a menu system that will allow players to tweak specific features of the mod, simply equip an Amulet of Jhunal and pray at the shrines while its equipped to gain access to the menus. A free amulet can be found either next to the Shrine of Jhunal or can be bought from Vithar. In light of the changes to the Greenhouse, it is really important that players uproot any fully grown plants that they had planted there before updating the mod. Users of the Windyridge mod will need to kick their family out of Windyridge before updating the mod and then invite them back to the home after updating if they use the Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions mod.
Please don't forget to follow the Updating procedure on the mod page and pray at the Shrine of Jhunal in the city to allow the shrine to complete the updating process. If you are installing the mod for the first time or mid-playthrough then please remember to follow the Installation procedure on the mod page. The Winterhold Restored [XB1] port has also been updated. Please see the change logs for more details on the new update.
Version 2.2

The new version primarily adds more compatibility with a few more mods and adds the ability to summon Shadowmere if you're using my Nightmere mod.
Load Order
Use the following load order as a guide when using the various patches for this mod:
Spoiler:
Show
Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragonborn.esm . ESP Files For "Slightly Compatible Mods" (like WinterholdCollegeHideout.esp, see description) . ESP Files For "Incompatible Mods" (like JKs Skyrim.esp, see description) . Prometheus_No_snow_Under_the_roof.esp JKs Skyrim.esp AzurasShield_SE_Eng.esp Ambriel.esp windyridge.esp . ESP Files For The Patches Of "Incompatible Mods" (like JKs Skyrim_No Snow Under the Roof_Patch.esp) . Winterhold Restored.esp Winterhold Restored - NSUTR Patch.esp Winterhold Restored - JKs Skyrim Patch.esp Winterhold Restored - Azura's Shield Patch.esp Winterhold Restored - Ambriel Patch.esp Winterhold Restored - Windyridge Patch.esp
Regardless of whatever load order you have, always ensure that the main plugins for JK's Skyrim, Azura's Shield, Ambriel, Windyridge and No Snow Under the Roof all get loaded before Winterhold Restored.esp and that any patches between those plugins also get loaded before Winterhold Restored.esp. Also ensure that the Windyridge patch gets loaded last (after all the other patches).
LOOT has a tendency to move windyridge.esp below Winterhold Restored.esp when sorting plugins, if you use LOOT ensure that the final load order resembles the example above by moving windyridge.esp above Winterhold Restored.esp in the load order.
Please read and follow the instructions on the mod page and in the sticky posts first before reporting bugs and mod conflicts.
I installed your mod first, then i switched to The Great City, and finally now i'm reinstalling your Winterhold Restored. TGC of Winterhold is epic and more lore-friendly IMO, but i prefer your overhaul in the end, especially how it blends smoothly, the little village, the docks down there, the temple also.
The Better Dynamic Snow patch is outdated. It's looking for the old version that's named Better Dynamic Snow.esp. It needs to be looking for Better Dynamic Snow SE.esp.
EDIT: Actually on reading the page for Better Dynamic Snow SE, the pinned comment says that patches for the old version are pretty much redundant now because of the way SE handles shaders vs LE. Honestly looks like the patch on this mod's page just needs to be deleted to avoid confusion!
Read Better Dynamic Snow's pinned comment. Patches for Better Dynamic Snow are redundant now because of how the newest version of BDS works so patches aren't necessary. Don't use the patch on this page for BDS and you'll be fine.
You know, I used to love this mod and my recent saves I've decided to take it out. As much as I like the additions - and the idea that in the intervening 200 years of the 4th Era they would have built something back? There's entirely too much luxury going on in this mod, and the names of the NPCs have pulled me out of the immersion.
What I would want now is something that merely lets you rebuild what is in place for Winterhold, and simply accept the better part of the city was taken by the sea.
