Gorgeous work! And I'm so happy about your "transformative use" permissions - I'd love to potentially use the temple model for a new temple as part of my Gods and Worship religion overhaul mod (with credit to you, of course).
i really like this mod, my one nitpick is that the totem of kyne in ivarstead is giving me a very odd activator message. Probably because I'm running either requiem or survival mode. for example:
I'd be happy just to have it give a similar message as the one in kartwasten - i.e. some message that says "you don't get any effects from this". I'm in SSEedit trying to make the change myself but I'm really bad at this :/ could someone just tell me how I would go about basically copying the message from the totem of shor in karthwasten to the totem of kyne in ivarstead?
Glad you like the mod! The message isn't a bug, if that's what you were thinking, Windhelm and Karthwasten churches have totems to dead gods, so you can't get blessings from them. But there are shrines to one of the Eight Divines on the benches next to them.
I didn't think it was a bug. I like the message I get about "dead gods" when I try and use the karthwasten totem. What I'm saying is that for the totem in ivarstead, the activator is sorta weird (see the screenshot above).
I'd rather just have the same message from the totem of shor in karthwasten. But I don't know how to do that
So the "Sneak is increased by 10 points..." message? That's generated automatically based on what effects the spell will grant you, no way to change that without changing the effects. I'd also like to know how to change it so it says 8 hours instead of 28800 seconds.
Nice! Thanks for sharing. A consistency patch for The Old Ways should be in order for this, and I think Wintersun might have blessings for some of the Nordic pantheon---at least Shor.
I see you caught me before I realized the video was new and had voiceover with that info (so I hastily deleted that bit from my post). But thanks for repeating it for me (and anyone else who fails to hit "play" before commenting)!

They just travel to the inn at the nearest town, one of them sleeps at the bedroll next to church. They don't have any special dialogue.
Previously, my message also said, "About the new NPCs, do they have anything to say? Places to sleep?" The answer is in the video but not the description (I had only absorbed the latter).
I have a fairly heavy mod load in my game, so when I spotted this and decided to add it (and the Integration Project) I wanted to poke around and make sure that there weren't any obvious conflicts. I was able to easily find the churches at Karthwasten, Dawnstar and Ivarstead (none of which appeared to have any issues), but I cannot seem to locate the church at Windhelm. Then I noticed that the picture at the top of the page said "Winterhold" and I thought perhaps I was looking in the wrong place, but I couldn't seem to find it there, either. Stave Chuch 2024 - Windhelm.esp is active in the load order. Could someone please give me a nudge in the right direction to find it? I believe I've circled the entirety of the city itself, and wandered a fair ways down the bank on either side of the bridge to no avail.
It's north-east of the city, on the edge of the glacier. Look at the map in the description, it's exactly where the arrow is pointing. If you generate your lod you'll see it from miles away.
Thank you! I wasn't looking far enough away to find it (and you're right about DYNDOLOD - but with 3200 + mods, it takes so long to run that I wanted to make sure there weren't any obvious conflicts before going that far) . And I'm happy to report that everything looks great!
im a bit confused i read in the posts down below that you also put one near windhelm? so wouldnt that mean there are 5 churches in the mod instead of 4?
Windhelm is one of the 4 locations, alongside Karthwasten, Ivarstaed, and Dawnstar. Maybe you confused it with my older stave mod, which has 7 locations, Dawnstar is the only one that overlaps.
I just noticed the Ivarstead location of the Church is super convenient for Froki. Froki is the only non-hostile NPC in the game that still worships the Old Gods and he lives near Ivarstead. Would be awesome if someone with the skills would one day create an AI package for him to wander to this location every now and then to pray and tend the Church.
Oh geez, yeah you are right. Let me say the Great Town of Karthwarten and Ivarstead then instead, but from the images provided I think they are compatible too.

Can't account for every single Location Overhaul mod out there obviously, but I guess the most popular ones should work.
Thanks for your mod! :)
