The home has a lot of activators

    1. turning off/on the fireplace will reset the grill/cooking pot. (if you're wondering how to put the cooking pot back)
    2. Using the wood chopping block stacks the wood on the shelf by the door.

    A few notes...

If you change the yellow rug bedroom to have the double-bed it may leave the dresser in the way of one side.

    • empty the dresser then disable it in console.
    • from that moment on toggling the bed back and forth between the double and single bed works fine - putting the single bed back enables the dresser again but it will now be disabled when the double-bed is toggled on.

Thanks for sharing this. I am going to test it with River Rock Village to see if it is compatible. Always loved the home but wished it had room for kids.

Doesn't that mod already have Wind Path included? If so, it will conflict, or at the very least, have issues. I didn't change any of the scripts, but plenty more has been changed.

As expected it does not seem to work. However, I did not adjust the load order (placing Windpath Home - Revamped after River Rock Village). Not sure if that would make a difference or not. I might try it again sometime.

Part of why I am trying to get it into my game is that there are other kids for my kids to play with in River Rock Village. No village, no kids.

I wouldn't suggest this on a current playthrough, but if you start a new one you could exchange the River Rock Village for just River Rock and then add this version of Wind Path to it.
It would mean adding another esp to the LO, but should avoid conflicts.

You want the version of River Rock which does not include Wind Path...

If you use RS children I put up a patch for that here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/148749

This has to be one of the nicest player homes I'd ever seen, is not too little, not too overkill. It's perfect.

I toggled in the double bed and I've one question on the beds if I mark for hearthfire multiple adoptions do all three beds become children beds? Because, I only want the two and the third extra bed for a follower.

Followers can and will still use them even if marked as children beds with the spell. So as long as you only have two kids, your follower can still use the other. Might even steal theirs!

InvisibleHummingbird Thanks for the reply and I really can't endorse this mod enough, as I stated previously it's the nicest player home I'd seen, I like to keep as asthenic and lore friendly without going overblown and living well beyond Jarls, High Kings and Emperors. The functionality is flawless and the though have to experiment a bit to discover it.

I can't really thank you enough...

      A couple of additional questions.

      1. On the configuration book... mannequin B2A seems to not change anything?
      2. If you lower the ladder or open the floor panel it's open for good - I did not find a way to raise or close the panel?

For the record naturally I added River Rock 1.3 mod into my load... Compliments the home and I like it separated in esp rather than in River Rock Village mod. I also took made a patch for River Rock RS children which I may post after testing a bit.

The B2F mannequin is in that basement storage room. It replaces the two urns to the right of the big chest. I just tested it, and it's working as it should. I attempted to link a pic to show the location, but for whatever reason nexus is refusing to allow it.
As for the ladder issue, I believe that's in the script, and since I am not gifted in scripting, I have never touched that stuff. I've never deleted any activators associated to it, as I recall, so I think we're just S.O.L. on that. Sorry.

Mod is pretty buggy spouse idles outside of the bedroom facing the wall and refuses to go to bed and leave that spot but I don't have the same problem with the follower that sleeps in the top bedroom though

I do hope it gets fixed instead of being ignored.

I've been using this edited version since I first tweaked it, and I can't say I've ever had the issues you've mentioned. Spouse has always slept in the master bed, and moved all over the house (mostly to chairs).
I will look into it, though.
And there's always the other versions out there for your use, if you find this particular edit not good enough for you.

Serana - my spouse - went right to bed in the double-bed when I told her so, which to me means most any spouse should recognize it as the marriage bed.

Awesome that you’re back. Is this the same version that is on Xbox? Could we get the Xbox version updated if this has changes please? 🙏🏼

      Thank you!
Yes, it's the same as my port to xbox. I left everything untouched on Beth.net when I deleted my Nexus account, so had to do a re-upload here when I opened a new account. Nothing has changed.
As for the double bed... You have to use the book on the table upstairs (next to Luna). Choose the yellow bedroom and activate the change from a "follower" room to a master bedroom with the double. As I said, there is a scroll on the shelf to the right by the door that will end up floating if you make this change, but it's something I don't care enough about to try to fix.

Hey bro, did you fix the Mannequin in a hidden cellar?

Also it is included with the River Rock Village Version from mnikjom

I never use the cellar area (or mannequins in general - they creep me out) so wasn't aware there was an issue with it. What's the problem? I can look into a fix.
Also, not sure what you mean by the second part - the problem with the mannequin? I don't use that mod so...

River Rock Village is a settlement mod along with Windpath Home and I am currently using it since it shares a single .esp

The mannequin shows upside in the door/panel with ladder. And that is the real deal of creepiness, I will you show you.

Woah, yeah that is not cool. I've never had that happen to me in all the years I've used Wind Path. No promises, of course - I can't imagine the other authors would just let it go if they could fix it - but I'll look deeper into the issue. Thank you for letting me know about it.

Looking into the creepy mannequins, it seems that it's a scripting issue (or so I read from what my crummy google fu led me to) supposedly fixed in a prior Skyrim update but I don't know how that applies (if it does) to mods adding them. I don't do scripting. I did, however, find Mannequins Behave while I was researching the problem (it has an ESL version - yay!). The author presents a solution that doesn't involve scripting (and it seems to work!). I could incorporate it into this mod since it has open perms, but I would rather not - due to it being standalone, it would allow you to use it with your RRV mod too.

Edit: Out of curiosity I went into xedit and compared his mod with skyrim and...looks like it wasn't a script after all? The Skyrim Update esp has done the same thing the MA of Mannequins Behave did, so if they're still moving, then likely something is overwriting the record from Update. JakBlue22's file at the bottom of your LO should return them to the "immobile" status. I dunno. Skyrim will be Skyrim.
