Supercool mod I will probably download and use for my next 2000+ hour play thru!!!! HOWEVER, I am just curious. I am a heterotypical cis male, but i understand that not everyone is and i accept that. I feel by restricting that as one minor feature of your mod you are forcing people to conform to this in order to get the rest of the benefits from your mod r else download each of your mods except that one seperately and miss out on all the other benifits of this mod not included in other mods you have released. Now i know that comes across as preachy and for that i am sorry, It is your mod, do as you will. But i kinda get a slight bad taste in my mouth by this. I know alot of people make mods for themselves (and by all means please do so even if it IS hetero-only) but if you present it to the public as you so generously have, be aware of how this may come across. Unless that is a point you are trying to make (freedom of speech even if i dont agree with i will defend) it might be KIND of you to not force people to choose it based on their sexual preference or comfortability within. Just my opinion, I am aware it is not worth the two cents it is printed on. Thank you for this mod, It is whole-heartedly appreciated!
Hey man thanks for your thoughts. Same sex "fix" is something that i added only because is game's universe friendly. I totally support lgbt+ community and their needs and rights. Feel free to download the same sex version of the mod.
Huh. Its been over a month since i made that comment, so I am not sure, but I wonder if I missed that before I went on my little rant. I apologize whole heartedly.
Hey! Thanks for this massive work! If I could make only one little request, can you make a version without same sex dialogue restriction? (I know it sounds gay, but for me that restriction isn't lore-friendly)
This I don't see any problem with it as a stand alone but not sure what its doing in a larger overhaul like this and took me from "this mod looks amazing" to "I'm not touching this."
Yup, I don't really understand how taking away player choices makes for a "Quality of Life" improvement - it's not as though the game forces you to marry same-sex NPCs, it simply gives you the option.
Actually there are same-sex relationships in the tes series, ESO features a few of them alongside the loremaster of the series confirming that same-sex relationships aren't taboo in Tamriel, they are common (mother Mara embraces all true love and etc)
that's the point kitsuneshoujo, this mod makes it so that same sex NPCs DON'T show interest in the player anymore, that's what people are talking about, not the opposite, they want that part removed from the overhaul.
Agreed. Why take this away?! I was going to download but this option seems terribly homophobic to me. Not to mention, one of my characters is a sexy lesbian Vampire- and she doesn't want to only be hit on by the ugly and hairy men in Skyrim.
The change in this Id like to highlight is the reduced ores and ingrediants for merchants. I'd like them to sell none if someone could do that. Smithing isn't op if you have to spend time to get ores from mining it yourself. Same with enchanting, alchemy. Remove the supply, and you wont see yourself in town spamming buy sell enchant buy sell enchant...
I would get this just for the reduced supply, but its so well connected with changes to conflict with other mods, and I don't want to spend time learning tesEdit.
I want to use this mod, but I also want to use Morrowloot Ultimate. I would like the changes of most of Chocolate, but I like the loot rules of Morrowloot where the high level gear is much harder to find (not to mention those sweet artifacts scattered about). What would anybody suggest for fixes, load order, maybe a bashed patch? Maybe something else I'm forgetting.
If you know how to use Xedit just modify the file your self to remove the changes you don't want, it is what i have always done with this mod. Its a great underrated mod, but some of the changes highly conflict with some of the mods I prefer to use over said changes in this mod.
> the most powerful Fortify Smithing you can now craft is +45%, which is still lower than the Blacksmith's Elixir (50%), a potion you can only find during exploration.
so we can only craft best armors (with +50%) few times per game (x times that Elixir (50%) found in the game)? Don't you think it's a bit unfair\unforgiving? Or Am I misunderstanding something and there's a way to get +50% bonus infinite numbers of times per game? (but even if so - that would mean that alchemy crafted elixirs are useless and we are worthless alchemist in this matter)
We'll probably get told "Too bad" . but also its a motivator for some people to make an even better overhaul with more configuration options.
This one, IMHO is full of someones personal beliefs in how the game should be. and guess what. so will any other overhaul. I did something similar with grim dawn and it got to the point where I had too many options made available for people and just suggested people make the edits they wanted themselves.
This looks really promising and i would love to try it out but i am worried with any incompatibilities with the sneak related changes and 'realistic AI detection'. in the description it said that enemies will search for you longer and armour noise has been increased. With Realistic AI detection it also increases search time and audible noise from armour as well as other things. I really want to try this mod but want to know if there would be any major issues or incompatibilities between the two mods.
i really like some changes the problem other changes will cause conflicts in my game :S , for example im using abt arrows, weighless, ordinator, ars metallica etc D:
