hi there, if I wanted to raise the armor cap to 99% reduction, how would I go about doing that? could I just change the fMaxArmorRating in SSEdit from 80 to 99?
nah prolly would break mod, the mod does have the armor cap technically going past 80% by proxy of it continues gives you damage resistance per armor you have past that point, and idk if it would turn off if you also raised the actual armor cap up, so you might get stacking unintended effects
the purpose of this mod isn't like, move AR cap higher but it's to do it in a very meticulous way by design to fit with the rest of a heavily modified suite
Thanks alot. I didn't use the original B&B but neither wanted to stay on vanilla. Some morrowind like armor rating alternatives are either out of date (SKSE dependency) or bugged.
Any suggestion (if you use any) for a B&B or simple bows/xbows need stamina mod?
For melee power attacks there is already a good solution in the Scrambled Bugs mod.
It would function the same as how vanilla damage reduction vs traps functions. That's part of the reason I released this because the skse armor rating mods are all bugged vs trap damage,
I remember asking Simon about whether the armor system was embedded in Blade and Blunt's .dll like almost two years ago now, because it was always the part of the mod I found the most interesting/unique (though I do love Blade and Blunt as a whole). I'm so happy that someone else felt similarly, and that it was someone who can actually code.

Thanks so much for another banger, Kulharin!
