Hi, is anyone having a bug where this makes children bald when used with Simple Killable Children? The regular Killable Children works, but that makes children "behave like adults" which I'd rather not have for immersion's sake
I tried this with Axe's RS Children and it actually works, it looks really nice. However, as others have reported, Braith has both SMP and vanilla hair at once. I solved it temporarly by removing Braith from the DISTR.ini file so she only has the vanilla hair. Judging by the screenshots, it seems like the mod author also has the issue, because the SMP hair the ini file points to is the one with the hair bun. It would be nice to have the SMP hair for Braith as well, any chance of an update?
Make sure you're only using base RS Children (not Realistic Children or Children of the North). If you used either of those previously and had a Synthesis/EasyNPC patch, make sure to re-run the patcher without them.
If you're on base RS Children and getting this issue, it might be because you installed the mod mid-playthrough. SPID can be funky when you distribute stuff mid-playthrough. To fix the issue, open console and click on Braith. Then type resetinventory and hit enter. That should fix it.
I am also having this issue, I only use RS Children and I installed the mod before starting a new playthrough. Resetting Braith's inventory sort of fixed it, but more so in that she just removed the wig
I haven't seen any other children with any issues, though, and the all the rest of them look great!
That's very bizarre. I cannot get the double hair to appear in my game no matter what I try.
My only other suggestion would be to install the latest beta build of SPID, in case you aren't already using it. This is the version I use. It features force-equip, while the live version does not. SPID without force-equip can be buggy, so hopefully that fixes it. If it does, I'll update the requirements to list only that version of SPID.
If it doesn't fix it, let me know and I can take a look at your mod list to see if anything there might be causing issues.
I'm another with this issue. I've used the stable and beta releases of SPID on new and existing saves. Braith insists on having two hairdos at once (her vanilla one and her wig). Using resetinventory, as mulberrywolf says, just causes her to remove her wig (leaving her sad, physics-less vanilla hair). That said, all of the other children seem to be okay. I'm not the original poster but here is a modlist for your investigation.
Maybe it's also worth mentioning that The Ultimate Dodge Mod and RS Children in my modlist conflicted (but I have installed a patch). I'm not sure its relevant but thought you'd like to know. I hope that helps. Thanks for your work! :)

Things should be fine on a new game.
Let me know if that doesn't fix it.
