I get the point of this mod, but SSE's main appeal for me is the fact that it's incredibly stable compared to Oldrim
On an i3 2120 and GTX 750, I get about 20 FPS in/around Whiterun with Open Cities installed on Oldrim. Same exact load order on SSE gets me around 50 FPS.
its not more stable if you use mods. SSE reduces your FPS the more mods you have even if the mods are empty plugins with no information. You have to use a dll injected mod to fix it because bethesda doesnt give a s#*! and rather sell you $5 armors mods and lets mod authors fix their games on the exe level instead xD
wut ???? druninja you mean there's a dynamic capdown to hide the poor tech ability to handle lag spike due to potential heavy data display & script processing from mods coded in the exe ? like if bethesda said "we're gonna down their frames in their back down so they don't notice papyrus queues & disk sloppy access " ?! :o waaaaaat
its a bug in the exe. theres a certain function that calls information and it does so for each esp file. something was written wrong so it locks up so the more esps you have the longer it locks up for. if you dont have the SSE Fixes mod by Meh if you have 100+ esps you'll notice a heavy drop in performance in SSE in places like riften where you should get 60 fps youll only get 25 ect. With the Fix your FPS will go back to 60

It looks like microtransactions in single player games might be here to stay but at least we can have a laugh about it.
I honestly wouldn't still be playing Skyrim without mods and I really am enormously grateful to ALL the fantastic people who make them.

Similarly, if you skip to 1:37...
