I love it! I do have a question- what weather mod do your recommend with this? I was thinking Obsidian Weathers since it's kind of gloomy but wanted your take. Also I use the Lux lighting series- curious about what you're using? I'd love to simplify things and still get that icy vibe I want in my game.
I haven´t personally tested any weather mods to complement the frosty and foggy atmosphere yet.
However, here are a few highly recommended weather mods for Skyrim SE that might work well with Arctic Haze Ambiance:
- Cathedral Weathers and Seasons: beautiful weather effects and compatibility with many other mods. It offers a variety of weather conditions that could enhance the frosty and foggy setting. - Vivid Weathers Definitive Edition:This mod adds a lot of weather types and effects, including some that might suit the cold, frosty feel you're looking for. - Obsidian Weathers and Seasons: Offers a more subdued and realistic approach to weather and seasons, which might complement the subtle fog and cold tones of AHA.
I recommend giving these a try to see which one best complements the atmosphere you’re aiming for.
Not using any lighting mod yet, however i would like to get a mod like ELFX (used it a long time ago) to make the Interiors look darker and scenic by adding realistic light sources and shadows. I´m eager to try out and test a couple of those lighting mods including Lux, adding the most suitable to a recommended mods section.
Feel free to share your findings or any other recommendations you might have!
EDIT: Cathedral Weathers and Seasons has been added to requirements as Semi-essentiial (see description)
