Yeah the bug still persists, though I haven't been able to figure out a solid cause or how to 100% reproduce the issue.
I kept switching between a bow set to 1, and melee weapons in groups (F1-F4), and one by one the bow and 3 of the 4 melee weapons lost all their charge. There are mixed vanilla and Immersive Weapons -weapons, 1 and 2 enchantment variants, it didn't seem to affect the result. At one point the bow that has already lost it's charge, had full charge again, then it was lost again at some point.

Weird thing is, when I first started out my issue was that the weapon on F1 kept losing charge when I switched to it from the bow, and now everything lost it, except the one I had problems with in the first place.

Just an update on this issue: I'm not seeing it in my current game, but I'm still in the early game, so it could be that it's been fixed/was a one-off, or it's something to do with longer gameplay or doubly-enchanted weapons (i.e., from the Enchanting 100 perk).

I'm not sure if this is recent or if I just didn't notice it before, but weapon charge can become messed up (usually zeroed out in my testing) just by switching weapons using hot keys (i.e., F1, F2, F1, F2, and by the end, neither weapon will be charged).

Similarly, if you charge a save-slotted weapon via the menu, you may come back out only to find the charge zeroed out again/still. My guess would be that it's inappropriately storing charge value or a reference to a previous version of the weapon.

This behaviour does not occur if you avoid the save slots and exclusively use the full/quick menus to change weapons instead.
