Trying to get modded Skyrim anniversary edition running, but SkyUI isn't able to activate. Been playing on og Skyrim for a while but some mods I want to try are no longer updating or have become broken over there, so I thought I'd update as well. Been looking through forum posts on this page, running through reddit pages, looking at articles and posts people have written, etc. to resolve the issue and haven't found a solution yet.

Went to silverlock and got skse64 for anniversary edition. Using vortex so I download 7z and use install from file button so vortex does the work for me. Is working correctly as in game I can console the SKSE version number that matches website. I download SkyUI through vortex so i have 5.2 for that as well. I have the latest unofficial patch. through vortex, I check for updates and get the all clear. I get the journal fix mod but cant tell if its working due to the whole still down. I don't think I have any .dll plugins, though I know very little about programs so this could be my issue. Vortex doesn't show any however in plugins tab. only .esp, .esm, and one .esl that is survival mode. I think that's what I'm looking for.I am using engine fixes and therefore the address library, so i make sure that's up to date through vortex. Because I'm using engine fixes, I also get the modded .toml file mod that is recommended. All plugins are enabled. I have every recommended mod or add on to SkyUI listed under step three, though I don't know if they are working once again, except clean menu which I can tell is working. I am launching the game through the skse64 loader, as once again i can test that SKSE is working through being able to get the version number through the console. I am still getting no error codes, so I can't look anything up through that. I saw in a reddit post that someone got it working by getting multiple different versions of SKSE in their folder but I don't know if I want to mess with that. Sounds like suicide stew but for programing. any other suggestions are welcome.
i think i have a similar problem. The mod just not running. No error notifications from Vortex, no crashes, nothing, mod is just not active, for some reason. I installed only one other mod, that is needed for SkyUI, wich is SKSE, also installed from NM trough vortex, cause i thought that maybe some other mods were causing the issue, even if they shouldn't really make a difference, but that also didn't help, so it's got to be something with the mod itself.
I tried reinstalling the mod multiple times and to the point where I just reinstalled the entire game, still I am unable to fix this. Every other mod I am installing is working perfectly fine. Lots of mod depend on MCM and it is really being a problem for me
