Hiya! I've been using the original of this mod with a patch made for Ulvenwald Trees. Would you consider making one for this version? Then I could upgrade 🥰 even the HLT model doesn't work for my setup, as there are branches sticking out of the main tree where my characters walk. I'd be forever grateful.
Hi! I will need to ask permission from the MA of Traverse the Ulvenwald, but if I can their permission, then yes I'd be more than happy to make a patch for it!
Hi again! A friend of mine uses Traverse the Ulvenwald and tested out the patch from this collection for me, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/112207, and the patch still works for my version of the treehouse! I did not change the ESP or the placement of the trees, so this version is still compatible with that patch.
This Falkreath Treehouse Alchemist Edition is a true work of art: * It is cutely designed, well laid out, with a lots of little secrets and apt decor & functionality, and overall this treehouse feels airy. naturalistic and cheerful (reminds me of the Treehouse mods in Oblivion). * This is a perfect home for a druid, ranger, shaman or alchemist/herbalist/apothecary playthrough (and very conveniently located near Falkreath, near the beautiful waterfalls). * I love the little touches here - the planters for gardening, cute & useful hanging lanterns, the beautiful statue, the wooden throne, the wooden sit-about at the workshop platform, and that little picnic table near the rope ladder (the candle on it makes it easy to spot the rope ladder at night), the little attic. * I also like that the treehouse and workshop platform are connected by a little wooden bridge, so both areas feel separated and comfy, rather than congested. The house portion is just enough for one person, but I did add a few bedrolls to the porch area for followers to sleep in.
Hope someone can make a patch to make these mods coexist -- I would love to have the exterior flower-garden-and-pond-bridge-and-statue changes of Falkreath Overlook Farmhouse to coexist with the Falkreath Treehouse.
Stroti's Treehouse is a little wooden cabin up in the treetops. It is good space for having a few followers.
Falkreath Overlook Farmhouse adds some beautiful exteriors (flower garden around the pond from the waterfall, cowshed, nice rocky bridge (which leads perfectly to the waterfall creek gurgling down from the cute little Falkreath Waterfall Cave), farm horse, guard dog), though the farmhouse cabin itself isn't much useful (aside from a nifty smithy area) for followers as it had load doors for every room.
I want to add that Falkreath Waterfall Cave (also by the same author) is a perfect little addition at this lovely area, and it easily coexists with other mods that touch the area as it simply adds a cosy cave behind the waterfall.
If you have Go to Bed installed, then yes, you should be able to sleep in the bed. The activator is however sometimes really hard to find. I have a few pictures that show where I find the activator in my game.
I love this treehouse so much! It seems like every time I visit it I find some new detail that makes me smile! Your Falkreath Water Cave is also essential! You struck such a nice balance of feeling both cozy and open. And I love all the idle markers sprinkled through out! Thank you for sharing something that you obviously put a lot of heart and passion into with the rest of us! I love it!
Thank you so much! <3 I really love how it turned out and all the little details. Like you said cozy, but open! It took a long time to make all the edits, but it was so worth it.
some things to note... do not use simply bigger trees. Way too much clipping. Please make an option to where you edit the trees in this area also or the trees used to support the tree house so that they don't use our mods trees. I would love it.
Also, I'm not sure if this is only on my end or not but the weapons container is not static on the ground... I can pick it up and move it. I also can't sleep in the bed. This last thing might just be my side only but the shelfs with the potions and soul gems lags my game to hell. The other side of the tree works fine. (this is probably a me problem)
I've made a Happy Little Trees version that changes the four supporting tree meshes and textures to, hopefully, ensure there is no clipping within the treehouse. This only effects the four supporting trees. All other trees will use your installed meshes and textures. Please let me know if there is still clipping.
That is strange. Do you have a mod that enables you to pickup containers or static objects? In regards to the sleeping bit, do you have Go to Bed installed?
I have not experienced lagging within the treehouse itself, but that doesn't mean that the problem is singular to you. There are a fair amount of clutter items in the treehouse, so it might be a bit heavier on your system.
I've just reconfigured my soul gems and potions mod to be way lighter. Though I do have to admit, there is a ton of clutter in this tiny space. You have like 20 potions of each type, actually I think you're using the same mod I have for potions (ElSopa potions). It looks like you're using diverse morrowind lanterns but I'm not sure. You also filled the entire shoe shelf below with tons of stuff. There is also a huge thing of flowers in a shelf to the right of it. I don't think these really affect anything though. Maybe like 4-6 potions, 3-4 soul gems, leave some of the shoe shelfs with nothing in them and only leave a few small or larger things in this small shoe rack. Honestly if you made a version to lessen the amount of clutter on this shelf that would be great. (or in this general area like a minimal clutter option) (unless if I test this now and there is no lag but don't respond on this yet)
No, I do not have Go to Bed? Should I be using this? I have a mod called Use Those Blankets. Could this be affecting it? Or maybe it was just because my tree mods were just clipping so far into the bed that I couldn't interact with it.
I will try reinstalling and testing it out with the custom tree meshes and textures. I couldn't really even get the full experience last time due to fat trees.
If you want to be able to sleep in the bed, then yes Go to Bed, or a mod that enables the player to lay down before sleeping is necessary. Use Those Blankets would not affect the sleep functionality if you have a sleep mod installed.
Glad to hear it. Let me know if there is anymore branches clipping into the treehouse.
It's been a while and I'm finally back again.. I would like to tell you that the trees work a lot better than mine. Thanks for the custom trees. Another thing... The shelfs still lag. Specifically, the shelf section with the health potions and everything in the 2nd screenshot. This whole shelf drops my frame rate by like 30. Another 2 shelfs that also bring it down are the cupboard in this 2nd screenshot to the right with a breadbasket on top of it and the shelf above the bed I think with the books on top of it. These are very minor lag points though compared to the potion shelf and everything below this.
The only thing I ask is please reduce the amount of clutter and try to make it feel less cluttered and place bigger objects in these places or maybe nothing because sometimes nothing can also fill space by making things look more spacious. The other side of the treehouse works perfectly fine except I can still pick up the weapon bucket for some reason. Kind of funny. I should probably also tell you I've been using VR. I still have to get very very close to the bed in the tree house to be able to even activate the sleep, but I can still do it which is great.
I'm glad the trees are working better. I'm not sure why the shelves are lagging or why you are able to pick up the weapons barrel. It might be a VR issue or maybe you have a mod installed that allows you to pick up static object. I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done about the bed, but I have been looking into modifying the mesh to perhaps help this, but in the end it does work, the activator is just very specific.
I appreciate you sharing your opinion, but I respectfully disagree, and will not be modifying the clutter in the treehouse. I made this for myself for my playthroughs, and decorated it accordingly. However, I did want to share it with others to use, but in the end, it was made and decorated for me.
hi! great mod, you made a cool idea even better! :)
i have one problem tho, that also happened on the original: for whatever reason, i just can't activate the bed, so it's impossible to sleep and actually use the house hahaha i've also noticed that the hitbox to activate the enchantment table and the soul gems is kinda small, so i had to enter 1st and search for it a bit slowly i've just re-tested and was able to sleep! :D however, the problem is kinda there still and it applies to most of the house: the activators hit box is REALLY small for basically anything (the only ones i didnt have any issue using was the the grill and the set table activators). some of them are easy to get around, while others require a bit of precision, like the meat hanger and the bed. here's a screenshot of the only place where the bed activation was avaliable for me: screenshot
i imagine this is hard to balance in such a small space, but i'm just throwing it here in case i'm not the only one!
oh, and if you are taking suggestions, here are a few, hope you don't mind:
- a key hanger near the door to store players keys - the lower part of cabinet (the one with the cheese and bread baskets) could be used to store pots, plates etc (dont know if it isn't or if it's another part that i can't activate in my game). also, this cabinet is slightly clipping the outside walls. not a big deal and i def can live with it, but if you ever want to check this: yet another screenshot - same thing for the space just below the arcane enchanter and alchemy lab (maybe the books could be placed there and use the current book space for notes or something? idk) and below the bed (you could have a drawer or something to store clothes :) - this new space you created beside the house is really REALLY cool. i'd happily give up on one or two planters to have a bench or a small table and chairs there! - since you've added a bed for pets, you definitely need to add a cat there! i installed mihail house cats yesterday and this came to my mind instantly hahah - we have a few lanterns on the deck, would be cool if they also could be turned on and off - and lastly, i love how the trees are integrated in the space, just thought it would be really cool if one of them had a secret safe storage, a birds nest. anything to add a bit more to them would be awesome!
sorry if this comment comes out as demanding, that's not the intention. i really enjoyed the house and i'm just throwing a few ideas i've seen elsewhere in the hopes any catch your eye to make this even cooler!
thanks for the great mod, it's endorsed already! :)
Looks nice. I do however have a couple of questions: 1. Why just AE, will it not work on SE 1.5.97 with Backported Extended ESL Support, or are there other AE specific elements??? 2. Is the place fully navmeshed so followers are able to follow you in?
Thank you! 1) You specifically need the Dawnguard (placed Ancestors Glade tree in a planter), Hearthfires (Hearthfire soils), and Dragonborn (dark elf furniture and lanterns) DLCs. I have amended the requirements. 2) Yes, the treehouse is fully navmeshed, so followers can follow you throughout the treehouse and porch areas.

Note: Falkreath Treehouse Alchemist Edition is indeed a beautiful mod, but it has a conflict with Falkreath Overlook Farmhouse SE and Stroti's Treehouse -- all 3 abodes are situated at the same spot (at the top of the little hill behind Falkreath, beyond the waterfall. So you'll need to choose only one of them.

This module is also great, but it still has some problems for now. I look forward to its update and fix (its missions have voice)(´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
Is there any chance of a compatibility patch for Nature of the Wild Lands?
A tree is coming up through the floor of my house.
