WARNING PLEASE READ:
I recently discovered an issue regarding bounty tracking with Book of Shadows. I do believe the mod is also in a current re-write as to my knowledge. I am leaving this patch up for anyone who solved the issue with bounties resetting, and would like them to reply to the sticky comment the fix if they found it for everyone else. Thank you.
These Patches are for Skyrim Reputation - Improved which add more masks to the unrecognizable reputation list introduced in this extension of Skyrim Reputation. This makes it so while wearing certain masks included in the list, it can negate reputation changes. This is useful if your goody two shoe character has to do some...nefarious acts (like assassinate Nazeem) without tanking said reputation (Or do good acts and not tank your evil character's reputation?)
Be warned though, it is still possible for NPCs to see through your disguise if you get too close while "doing the deed". Another warning, while wearing a mask that conceals your identity, people may be off put to you. This is how it is due to Skyrim Reputation - Improved, and I like this idea. Expect vendors to increase prices, and other NPCs to comment their disdain of the secrecy. I also changed the messages and magic effect description to better reflect this. You do NOT want to always be wearing a mask, only when you want to do something you don't want to be recognized for. If you need to talk to a vendor, you might want to take off the mask.
I was looking around Nexus, and only found this patch that added more masks to the list from Sneak Tools. I also use Sneak Tools, and have personally run that patch for some time. I later downloaded Book of Shadows, and thought to myself "Wow, these could use the same treatment of the Sneak Tools patch." So I went to see if someone else had created patches for Skyrim Reputation and Book of Shadows....No luck. I decided to whip up my own simple patch to replace the old Sneak Tools patch. This one now includes the Book of Shadows masks in the FormID list from Skyrim Reputation - Improved, and then I decided to share it so someone else doesn't have to make their own patch.
I excluded just a typical Skyrim Reputation - Sneak Tools Patch since it was already made, and I don't want to include a copy of that patch. If you only need a patch for Skyrim Reputation and Sneak Tools, go Here.
Please Note: In addition to the Book of Shadows and Sneak Tools Masks, I also added a couple Vanilla Masks that made sense such as the Nightingale Cowl and Dark Brotherhood Cowls to both versions. If you don't want these added to the list, you can simply delete the references in the FormID list in my patch file via xEdit.
Please Only choose ONE version, as they edit the same FormID list and will just override whichever one you load last. Both ESL flagged.
-Version 1: Just Book of Shadows.
-Version 2: Both Book of Shadows + Sneak Tools Masks.
I almost made another version that included all the Thieves Guild Hoods, if I get enough requests I may still do it. I just didn't feel that they hide the face enough, but might change my mind in the future. After all, thieves don't typically want to be noticed.
