Leianne has passed away at age 61 in July 2023, losing a battle to lung cancer.
From now on she'll be smiling on us from Sovngarde.

I will miss you so much, my dear friend. <3 Leianne was always helping, always cheerful and supportive. I watched her go through some challenging times, while always staying cheery and never complaining. Leianne was a spicy lady, so, so excitable, and I loved her so much for it. She didn't take any crap but would give the shirt off her back if someone needed it.

She was extremely creative and loved Skyrim beyond measure. She was always working on her mods, always on new ideas. Whenever I looked at Steam, she was on Skyrim. She loved pets and got along with all animals, usually had a dog at any time in her life and this was reflected on her mods that had farms, domestic animals, and it was important to her that horses in Skyrim had proper names!

I am the caretaker to her mods which have now been sunset. These mods can beredistributed as is, WITH CREDIT, but no edits should be made. If people wish to patch or translate her mods, it should be dependent on the original files. She expressed a wish to allow the community to translate and possibly expand her work without changing the original files or her vision.

If you want to use something from the mods in your own works, leave a comment and I will get back to you about it.

There are raspberry bushes and strawberry patches on the property - both are plant-able - meal values have been reduced to acceptable values. Strawberry patches are behind the stable, and there are two raspberry bushes - one by the soap pot, and the other on the side of the path leading from the road (little harder to find that one).

All meshes have been redone, there should be NO missing textures - I've also added a SILVER category to the smithing menu where you can smith a silver bow, silver greatsword, silver sword and silver arrows!
thank you SO VERY much for all your patience!

    Leianne

I canโ€™t plant anything in soil. Nothing happens when I click on it. ๐Ÿ˜…

Also Iโ€™m so sorry for your loss..

I really like the house and all the little features it comes with!

However it seems I can't plant new plants in places other than this house. Is it actually intended?

You need extra mods/patches to be able to grow some (but not all) of the Bruma plants.  Look up "growable bruma" in the search bar on Nexus.

I have growable bruma patch. I'm able to plant few things (like flax) anywhere in Skyrim, but for example I can only plant blackberries near Waterview.

Yeah I have the same issue.  Some of the plants that are growable in the Waterview garden aren't plantable in other places, including the blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, radish, onion, and several others.
Also, the yellow flax is plantable, but I've never seen it fully grown and harvestable in garden, have you noticed that too?  Not even in the Waterview garden...  The red and blue flax can be fully grown and harvestable, at least in the Waterview garden, properly.
I'm going to compile a complete list soon of all the plants from the Bruma and Waterview mods that are growable, and which ones are growable only in the Waterview garden and not anywhere else too, and other plants that don't work properly or are otherwise problematic (like the orange, pear, peach, and apple trees can cause game framerates to slow down or game crash when fully grown in player gardens).

Okay, I have made a list of all of the food and ingredient items that are added by the Bruma mod and the Waterview mod that can be planted in Skyrim home gardens with the Growable Plants mod.  It's not quite complete, but it's very close, and includes some very rare plants that are hard to find even in Bruma, like a Stinkhorn plant that's in the Bruma mod but not even listed in the Beyond Skyrim Bruma ingredients pages on UESP!

      FOOD:
      Corn
      Grapes
      Lettuce

      INGREDIENTS:
      Alkanet
      Blue Flax
      Cairn Bolete
      Clouded Funnel
      Elf Cup
      Emetic Russula
      Green Stain Cup
      Lady's Mantle Leaves
      Lady's Smock Leaves
      Mandrake Root
      Milk Thistle
      Red Flax
      Rice
Root Pulp (Columbine plant, harvesting wild Columbine plants gives you the Root Pulp ingredient)
      Steel-Blue Entoloma
Stinkhorn (not sure where to find this, but it's in the Console Commands ID code: xx601912)
      Summer Bolete
      Tinder Polypore
      Wisp Stalk
      Wormwood
Yellow Flax (buggy, is plantable, but never seems to grow in my game, either in the Waterview garden or anywhere else)

All of these can be planted in Skyrim home gardens (with the Growable Plants - Bruma patch mod) and the Waterview garden.  I'll make another list later of all the plants that can be only planted in the Waterview garden.

Those are indeed plants that can be planted in Skyrim. It's a shame that others dont work, they look really nice (seriously I just want them for decorative purposes lol).

I was trying to plant only blue flax. I can check later if I have the same bug with yellow flax.

I'm gonna try "Waterview in Skyrim" and see if that one works correctly.

I want to ask a question about grapes. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I plant grapes and get nirnroot. I started a new character and although I was able to plant and harvest grapes in old character's gardens (except for Seapoint settlement), I can plant grapes but get nirnroot in my new character's garden.
I already have the correct mods (based on the fact that I could plant grapes and get grape plants and grapes in my old character's garden). Any of you have any experiense and a solution to the problem?

Late reply, but the yellow flax thing was driving me insane, so I went looking and found the problem! It was a typo in the TREE records section of the BS:Bruma mod. Thank you for the inspiration to go digging through Xedit. (I uploaded a patch for it today.)

No worries, no such thing as a "late reply" here, we're going to keep this topic going until we get as much figured out as possible.  And thank you so much for that Yellow Flax patch mod you made, the fact that the Yellow Flax wasn't working neither in the home gardens of Skyrim nor even in this mod Waterview (or anywhere at all) was driving a bunch of us crazy lol.

I've been working on this and I think all the Waterview plants can be planted elsewhere with the Bruma Growable Plants patch SirCadsimar mentioned plus I made an additional patch for a few extra plants (Waterview Plants outside Waterview). Formlist Manipulator is required. Let me know if you run into any problems.  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/87316

Beyond Skyrim: Bruma is a large expansion mod that this mod requires.  You shouldn't download this specific mod if you don't have Bruma.  There is a seperate version of this mod for the province of Skyrim though, on its' own Nexus mod page by the same mod author.

Pale Pass, it's the border to Cyrodiil, way to the south of where Helgen is.  It's connected to the roads and is near Southfringe Sanctum.
But, if you installed Bruma during an ongoing playthrough, it might not work properly.

Does the house cost anything? I am not a huge fan of free houses.

Unfortunately for you (I guess), the house is free, and has an active map marker to easily fast travel to.

Don't like free houses: RP it- just find an empty barrel / chest in the closet town and dump whatever amount of Septum's you want in it you think the house is worth. Consider the chest belongs to the "seller."

Is it possible (technically and willing to) make this Hearthfire compatible? Location wise this is hands down the best player house I've seen with simply stunning views.

I did and it was fine, that said I did but I was still in Skyrim at the time. I hadn't visited Bruma yet.
