Update 1.2 - Fixed manually an issue that broke the path to the cloud textures used by NAT in some cloudy weathers, that caused the sky to become purple. Hope they're gone forever - Added a patch for Mists of Tamriel and NAT in the optional files, since there's none of the kind on the page of that mod
Update 1.1: - Increased fog for every foggy weather. - Fixed horizon seam for almost every weather (thanks to dBottle's help) - Added some missing weathers and ImageSpaces. - Removed Skysave and Skyrestore from reshade due to some weirdness on the horizon. - Edited Gaussian Bloom and NiceGuy Lighting to improve fire.
One of the problems with Vanilla HDR is that it destroys interiors, altering things like lighting and flames color, but seems you managed to get more than a decent interior lighting. I supose thanks to Lux.
Your pics are great, and the night light is correct. Use this sky to get the full effect.
The Vanilla HDR will change the tonemapping to the version that I used as a basis for the preset. First you install the original one, then you let my version to overwrite it.
The last update from KreatE broke my preset. my last update was before KreatE's one. Currently, I'm fixing it with the next release of Community Shaders in mind. You stillcan use the ReShade and Vanilla HDR with no problem.
Endorsed just because how detailed you explain on the installation!
But, In my opinion the Ambient Occlusion tweak are too strong making grass have a weird really dark 'shadow' (probably a me problem) but other than that it's beautiful!
Thanks! I tried to explain everything in a way that even I could understand when I started to mod Skyrim
You mean the ambient occlusion present in ReShade or the setting in the .ini file? Because I'm planning to change the Reshade preset completely mostly because of Community Shaders upcoming updates, but I'm planning to change the AO shader to a much lighter shader, or to remove it completely
Is blur effect that is this intense intended? It started after loading everything according to installation instructions and it sort of comes and goes as it pleases lol
edit: disabled the "ADOF [qUINT_dof.fx] in reshade settings and it went away, besides that minor issue, this reshade is looking great :)
I didn't adjust anything and I have no idea about the FOV, I assume it is as I didn't really mess with settings of this preset before that happened. I've played a bit more with this reshade and I've got to say, I never had Skyrim look this gorgeous while still keeping some of the original vibe (atmosphere? idk how to describe it).
Thanks! I really appreciate that you liked it!Actually, there's no FOV on ADOF. If you're using Skyrim Upscaler, there's an additional step in the compatibility session.
You just need to check "Upscale Depth for Reshade" and uncheck "Render Reshade Before Upscaling" in Upscaler GUI. If it doesn't work, check both
Hi! Beautiful preset, but I am havinga similar problem. Tried checking "Upscale Depth for Reshade" and unchecking "Render Reshade Before Upscaling, didn't work. Tried to play without the upscaler and I still get the blur to be... erm... reversed (?). Like the character is blurry while distant areas aren't. I recall seeing this problem before, but can't remember the solution.
Hi! Thanks!Sorry for taking so long to respond. Let's try some things to find a fix for it:
First, instead of checking "Upscale Depth for Reshade" and unchecking "Render Reshade Before Upscaling" in Skyrim Upscaler, please check both.
If it doesn't work, please verify if you depth buffer is reversed. You have to open ReShade tab and click on Edit Global Processor Definitions. Then, see if the value in RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED is 0 (zero).
If not, input this value manually (ctrl + click helps a lot) and click outside the textbox. The Depth Buffer will then be updated.

Tell me if it works 😊
