since enb with terrain helper is a hard requirement for this version should i just stick to Additional Skyland Parallax instead? i dont like enb wich is why i stick with basic community shaders.
leostevano I wonder one thing, does that mean that mods that add "Complex Material" only run PG patcher, and mods that don't have "Complex Material" run without any meaning? For example, if I only install Skyland AIO and run pg patcher, nothing will happen?
Ok, but in gerneal I dont need any extra meshes when using PGpatcher right? Some things looked beautiful with skyland+your material+PGPatcher and some things looked really bad. I cant understand why
Hey, just wanted to ask perhaps a question with a very obvious answer, but anyway here goes.. Why do I need your complex files if ParallaxGen can create it from just regular meshes/textures, even goes as far saying it is not recommended to use prepatched meshes? Is it because you use different stylistic approach?
PG patcher looks for complex textures in your LO, then patch your meshes. It cannot create textures. If you dont have the textures it wont generate any meshes. Using PG is recommended because it will use any mesh from your LO.
I am completly worn out about how all these mods brings me to other mods that require other stuff. Seriously man can i just get skyland and all its parallax stuff? Got directed to this page, but guess what. it no longer compatible with CS use the PBR version instead What? I use CS but i have no idea if its in CS or do i need to download its addon?
Right, for you its easy because you know. But for someone new, we get confused with parallax, complex and pbr. See this, "it no longer compatible with CS use the PBR version instead" this is just wrong, complex and pbr are 2 different things. Pbr just being visual better. PG also has to option to convert parallax to complex.
-The first time you learn about parallax you see it requires meshes. -When you search for more you see 'auto parallax and PGpatcher' wants you to get rid of the meshes. -Complex does not require parallax -Pbr is complex in its true form, but also hits your frames.
Sorry but this is not what you learn in 2 hours lol
You need PG patcher to patch the meshes in your LO. It will look for parallax, complex material, and PBR maps available in your LO and make a custom patch for you.
I have succeed in test-running Skyland Complex Material without [Terrain Helper for ENB] with [Community Shader], [Auto Parralax], [Complex Parallaxx Material] after using PG-Patcher with only checking "Upgrade Parallax to Complex Material" option.
If i play with [Terrain Helper for ENB] then game crashes when going outdoor, but not when being indoor.
If i play without [Terrain Helper for ENB] it's okay to be both outdoor and indoor.
I don't know if i'm not enjoying full contents of Skyland Complex Material or something will go wrong after playing more, but at least it's okay without [Terrain Helper for ENB] with this setup right now.
+. it seems this setup is slightly more performance-friendly than PBR setup, according to GPU Usage.
This mod requires Terrain Helper for ENB. You can skip landscape in the fomod if you want to use with CS until terrain helper for CS comes, but I highly recommend to get PBR instead.
If you go to your Skyrim game directory folder and open up your EnbCache then delete its contents it will "clear" your cache, its good practice to do this when you save changes to your ENB or ENBseries.ini

Requirements and load order recommendation :
--Low Priority--
Skyland AIO (Hard Requirement)
Skyland Complex Material
--High Priority--
This mod CANNOT cause purple (missing) textures.
