Has anyone tried this mod with previous versions of Requiem? My modlist still uses 5.2.3 and I know 5.3 started tweaking lockpicking. I just don't want to update both Requiem and all of its submods I have installed. Tnx!

Just for reference, no it doesn't work out of the box for 5.2.3. If you open up this mod in SSEedit, go to spell section and tweak the four lockpicking perks, by adding a zero at the end. If this mod adds +2 to lockpicking expertise, change it to 20.

Hey guys I’m having a huge issue that’s completely ruining it for me and no matter what I search I find nothing helpful

So I’m level 25 with Wayfare 74 and usually 7 lockpicking expertise and was excited to get 9 for the max locks at 75, but within an hour of playtime I’ve got a “rouge skill” debuff according to the mcm menu with -15 lockpicking expertise, I’ve removed all armour and items into a chest, cleared all debuffs, restarted the game and pc and nothing is working, I’ve only put perks into conjuration from when it was normal and not having this problem.

For context I decided to sleep for 24 hours to see if that helped and now it’s gone all the way up to -40 lockpicking… according to mcm menu the tooltip it says I can get more information from the in game help menu but I can’t even find that, nothing comes up on google when looking into how to open this in game help menu that’s ment to enlighten me, this makes no sense to me why this is happening, and why is such crucial information about skill debuffs for lockpicking so hard to find.

    Thank you

Hey Biggie, I love the Wayfarer and Finesse perk tree idea, but it seems they are still called Lockpicking and Pickpocketing in Static Skill Leveling Rewritten? Am I missing any patches? How should I fix this? Thank you!

SSL has a file in the mod that lets you rename the skills :) I think it's in a TOML format if IIRC

Another "Bug" I noticed, when taking the 10% dmg Legion Perk it also seems to increase the magnitude of my enchanted items by 10%.
25% health regen becomes 27%(,5) etc, it also seems to amplify the effects of the health regen after it's applied resulting 21% increase.

Edit: After further testing, it seems as if the increase shown doesn't actually apply, which is good. However what i noticed was that, If you unequip that piece of equipment which is shown to be increased by the Legion Perk and then re-equip it it actually decreases the stat by 1.

So summary is 25% Health Regen amulet is shown as 27% Health Regen with the Perk, If unequipped/equipped AFTER the perk is taken results in a -1 of magnitude of the original value; 24%.

Ok, try now. I added some additional restrictions to which spells can be modified, so that it's equivalent of Requiem.

One Man Legion works fine, I'll assume you did the same change to Legion. Increases my weapon damage correctly and doesn't touch the magical effects or enchantments

Edit: Also I think the Solo and Captain perks seem to be increasing all sources of health regen, I'm not quite sure but that seems to be the case since I'm getting abnormally high health regen values after taking the perk/s'

Edit Edit: AH I figured it out finally, in the same vein that Legion and One Man Legion were buffing not only damage but also the magical effects, the reason why they were still reduced was because the dmg reduction% perk Leader and Lone Wolf were decreasing all values applied to the player, I noticed this when the Fortitude perk in the heavy armor tree was giving less than 40 Bonus Stamina when the Lone Wolf perk was active. So I guess this is a good old Necromage moment coding

I edited Lone Wolf and Leader to instead provide Magic Resist and Armor Rating. This should make them both more fair and less buggy.

I like this idea a lot, Requiem's Lockpicking tree is just... dreadful.

Also I removed the permissions on Requiem - Remember Lockpick mod, it's just an ini file, no need to ask folk to download one extra thing, eh? :)
