    Hello there! Super silly question but still prefer to ask, If I don't use CRF I should download the vanilla version right?

      yes, exactly. But, as per the description, you'd be better off with my new mod, which includes this one. Find it here. Although, you can still use this one if you don't want the hassle

    Hello, thank you very much for your mod which allows me to play with CRF + Stave Church. I have a problem with the lod generation.

    I have this message with Dyndolod.

      You're welcome! If you download the latest (1.1.1) version the problem will go away, but let me know if it doesn't. Cheers

    LOOT thinks that the (CRF version ) plugin has formids out of ESL range and 'will cause irreversible damage to my save"...

    I've seen this error only lately with FuzzBeed's TGC Darkwater Crossing overhaul.

      It probably just needs to be recompacted.

      Edit: I cracked it open in xEdit and the highlighted bit is what is causing the error.

      @lillindine ah I think I now understand better what Danland was saying. Thanks for bringing that to our attention, but the esp you highlighted is not the esp from my mod, that is the original mod. Might be worth recompacting, but then again I don't know how much of an authority LOOT is on these matters. At any rate, it is not the kind of thing that will cause "irreversible damage" I daresay.

      Sorry, I forgot that this is the mod that contains a replacer for the original, I'll recompact it and upload. Sorry!

      edit: i'll upload a recompacted version when the next update comes! Meanwhile please do it yourselves, thanks

      I'd just like to assure you that no damage threatens my saves as I'm in a permanent state of test runs. Thank you both for investigating the issue.

      Unfortunately I believe the problem is something bigger. With the CRF version, the church doesn't appear at all. I believe it's due to that highlighted bit not overriding anything. Only the landscape records seem to have been carried over.

      @lillindine

      As for the church not showing up, I can't reproduce it. It is there on a game running CRF and my enhancements, I don't know if I can help you there. I run LOOT (latest) and no error message returns. Have you tried removing the esl flag, close SSEdit, open again, recompact and flag? I will do it next update, just a bit busy now

      Disregard. I was apparently not on the most recent version of the patch? Or something went wrong with the download I had because I did not have the second plugin that I should have. But anyway, everything works great now. Thank you! Sorry for the trouble.

    Thanks for this! The Shor's Stone and Bronze Water churches have been staples of my LO for a while, and CRF is the most obvious conflict. :)

    Two questions: 1) would you consider an Unfrozen patch? And 2) I have been considering swapping CRF for some lighter mods, including the recently published Hrljarchen restoration mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/124446) - would you consider a version for that too?

      You're welcome! In reverse order, yes absolutely, should be pretty simple, only landscape edits, I'll get to it once I'm done with the Shor's Stone one. And lastly, an Unfrozen patch sounds interesting, I think it may only be a matter of swapping the assets for non-snowy ones but, look, I have never delved into SPID or SkyPatch because i just don't want to learn that stuff I have so many other things to do. Occasionaly, I like booting up my games and play a little, which leads to CK tinkering but that's all I do, for fun. Long story short, probably not the Unfrozen patch, I'm really sorry.

      An Unfrozen patch (and Seasons more generally) requires some CK work, to change landscape textures, and some SWAP and Snow-blacklist inis. The latter are pretty simple - I did some for myself on a patch I never published - and the former is basically just copying Mefarias changes so that they get forwarded to the Stave Church landscape edits. I just suck at using the CK... :P If you reconsider, I'd be happy to help with the inis. But I understand if you want to limit your attention here.

      On a side note, when you do a Shor's Stone patch, please consider patching for Arthmoor and Shor's Stone Burial Sites! (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/55377 )The latter is a gem of a mod, and it fits so well with the church.

      @HamsterSensei12

      Ok I will reconsider, and gladly take your help if I do. I used seasons for a while but gave up on it because it was too much work to patch for certain mods.

      As for Stave Church (Shor's Stone) I will take a look tonight to see if it is compatible with the mods you mentioned and make patches if necessary. Cheers!

    Thanks for doing this.  The stave churches needed some attention, and some furnishings.

    Thanks so much for this. One of the reasons I wasn't using the stave churches before is how sparse and boring the interiors were and how they all looked the same. Your 2 mods have encouraged me to download them to use with your overhauls. I hope you'll consider sprucing all of them up, because it's such a lovely addition to the world.

      I'm "working" on the ones that I use (missing Whiterun, dawnstar and Shor's stone), I might do the Darkshade pass one and Falkreath but honestly those locations don't make much sense to me, besides, everyone uses a Falkreath expansion mod, making the stave church feel very odd, potentially. But I can do it no sweat. It's very clear RedBag made this astonishing mod as a proof of concept, with minimal concern for choice of locale, just 'cause he can. We're grateful, they are beautiful. And Thank you so much :)

    Thank you very much. I was always discouraged to use these churches due to incompatibilities.
