no disrespect to the mods at all,
but does it do anything different than showracemenu?

The Vanity mirror is a equip-able inventory item that will open the Limited Race Menu to allow you to make changes to your appearance,
anywhere, anytime, at no cost.  It is fast, easy, and safe.

ShowRaceMenu works, but for me it was a bit of a nuisance - open the console, type in the command and don't spell it
wrong or you do it again, correct the changes that it made automatically
to the face, make your changes, type in your character's name again and
then exit back to the game.  I can't even count how many times I've
done that, and as a modder you know we are always looking to get rid of
      things that annoy us.
From the original mod page: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52712

So yes, it's slightly different :)

no way i open this site after so long and am greeted with the best mod ever. i struggle dealing with the ui in special edition, and often times, commands wont work. this mod lets me just automatically have it rather than using commands? im sold, friend. ever since the anniversary edition drop, i havent been able to use nexus mods much due to compatibility issues, so this is perfect. even moreso if it dropped on the community creation club

This is for the guy above. If you play in vr and dont want to have to take you HMD off to type on the keyboard this mod is definitely essential.

      Yeah, that really makes sense,
the explanation posted by the author answered my question as well, I always hated the idea of having to go thru confirming the name again, and if I press any key by mistake, it's like a new char with new save files...
