I plan on doing something like this for every settlement that uses those terrible catwalk-wall-things. So expect many more coming eventually. Although, I want to focus on ironing out any issues people have with my first entry and make some custom models that more closely match my original vision for this before I apply the same methods to the next installment. Also, I plan on doing Falkreath last (if at all), since COTN already redesigned the walls in an interesting way.
Sorry, where is the patch with lux orbis? I installed the official one but it wasn't there. And it wasn't among the fomod patches either. There was only one that was combined with jk but I don't have jk installed.
Yeah, VR screenshots just look terrible. Try it out in your game to see if you like the new vibe. If you decide you don't, I highly highly recommend you check out both of these more extensive Riverwood overhauls: - Riverwood by Schlitzohr - Riverwood Revitalized
I wanted to ask if this mod would be compatible with Riverwood by Schlitzohr, but since the village edits are quite extensive and your comment here, I assume they are not (at least not without a patch)?
Would like to use this too, but I can't with Spaghetti's Towns AIO. I'd have to download all the individual town files plus this mod and it's patch to use it- turning 3 files (Spaghetti's Towns AIO + NF Riverwood + Patch) into 13 files. Not worth it.
yes, and i also have some other mods where i selected spaghetti aio in the fomod. so it would be much hazzle.
but it doesnt do much different. or clipping as far as i can tell.
the only thing i noticed are the banners, which are two objects: the little pole and the banner. use more informative console to see what you are selecting and you can just pick manually them and disable them, and then "markfordelete". you can use arrow key up to get your last few entries, so this is an easy task to deactive 7. i like to keep one that is looking not so off on/in one wall.
after that you save and it is "fixed" for this save.
Your mod can be compatible with Riverwood Flowering SSE I love the touch you give to Riverwood. I think Riverwood Flowering adds some flowers to the walls so no idea if both mods are compatible.

I hope this series expands to other settlements as well. 🙏
Is there a small tower just up on a cliff outside town? That feels kinda weird to me, how would they prevent someone entering? Leap off the cliff?
