No more boot clipping, with new All-In-One version 1.2! In some intense, direct lights, some textures can still be super bright. I've done all I can think of to tone it down, including desaturating, reducing brightness in the dds, and making the normals black.
ideally, it would be interesting if these robes were not only available to the hero, but also on some of the dunmers of Solstheim and the quarter in Windhelm... I think it's enough just to create sets of clothes in the editor (outfit) and assign them to dunmers without affecting any locations
That has been suggested before, and yes it would be fairly easy, but I didn't mostly b/c I think of these as more formal wear, not something you'd wear just for keeping shop, or working your farm (Hlaalu farm), especially with all the dust/ash in Solstheim.
no, no!!! no formality at all!! of course most of the inhabitants are mostly in their usual and casual clothes but there are some who just have to look good and I remember that there are some there even if not many and there are a couple of them in solitude at the court of Elysif
ps. however you are right such a search for the right ones will take a lot of time or focus on TES Wiki ...
I think these are probably the best looking robes in any mod. Love the bright colours. However for some reason i just cannot get an armour rating on any on the armor version. I can craft them and see the difference between the two types, and even temper them to increasing quality but they always have an armor rating of 0. Can't for the life of me figure out why
Thank you! I think you're the first who actually like the bright colors, as I do. I got so tired of the "Power Rangers!" comments... I'm not really working on this mod anymore, but I'm sure you can edit the armor ratings in xEdit, right?
I love the bright colors too. The thing I've always hated about clothes in skyrim is how terrible they look and most mods stick to that style. It's okay for there to be some color. Even though these are for Dunmeri houses I kind of just want to use these robes on all future mage characters because the only other choices are the boring college robes or the idiotic looking black robes found on NPCs; until you get the Arch-Mage robes that is. I don't know why it's so hard to find mods with unique good looking robes/clothing.
Constructive Criticism time from someone who is very deep into Morrowind lore and culture.
Dres - Any Dres would likely be insulted at a stark white robe with little to no Argonian hide on it. House Dres is all about making money utilizing slaves and agriculture. I would also recommend making the main robe a bit darker grey as well and adding some brown. Also feel free to experiment with the Dres insignia in a texturing program because it was made in a way that it could be shortened or lengthened as much as one wants.
Hlaalu & Redoran - The colors are far too bright for... really any TES game. Mute the colors a bit and make the scarves stand out and I would definitely buy one... if I wasn't already aligned to House Telvanni.
Indoril - http://en.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW-npc-Ordinator.jpg http://en.uesp.net/wiki/File:ON-concept-Ordinator.png - Ordinator Armor is known to Dunmer as Indoril Armor. Add some of that sweet blue that House Indoril so enjoys using on their clothes and rooftops and you have the ultimate robe for the pious Tribunal or Reclamations Temple type.
Azura watch over you, sera. Now where is that slave? And that mortar and pestle I was using? And the slave bracer key that I was going to use to free the slave?
Thanks for the suggestions. Dres - will make darker, add some brown & lizard hide accents, and insignia Indoril - nice pic but I can't alter or create meshes, but I can add blue accents
Actually... no you're not the first, more like... the third: 1 on Steam, 1 on Beth forum XB1. Funny the first time, but now it's getting a bit wearing. Power Rangers were not at all in mind when I made these, only followed the Great House colors of lore, plus a few extra colors for fun.
