I just faced potema's remains and laughed at the stupid fight. a low hp skeleton with no damage output, very anti climatic. I'm glad you made this mod.
No problem. I had the same thoughts regarding her vanilla strength. I appreciate you endorsing my work. I hope it makes that part of the game a bit more enjoyable for you and the other people who play it.
This is one of my weaker boss mods, solely aimed at turning Potema into a genuinely powerful necromancer. I had to keep in mind that while she is a final boss of a short string of quests, she's not the boss of a high level quest or complete questline. Her lightning spell will have a damage output of about 100 per second, and her summons are just levelled draugr and draugr bosses, so at high levels she'll be summoning draugr deathlords. I'd have to test her against some NPC's to better gauge her strength, but she will be far inferior to the Destruction Master in my other mod Epic Bosses, who admittedly is comparable or superior to the Ebony Warrior.
Yesterday I "came across" your mod (EB) and tested it... they are really hardcore and such a little thing like the alligator in Lake Illiac... something beautiful... The only minus is that it happens to be in the same place as Plesiosaurs. Two large predators are wreaking havoc in the village of VIvek with Moon and Star mod :)
The crocodile is stronger than the plesiosaur that's in the lake, but they generally leave each other alone anyway. The crocodile makes swimming in the lake a lot less carefree though, that's for sure. He's fast, hard to see, and deadly. Not unlike a real life crocodile.
It's true... he's amazing. As for the plesiosaur... I personally made him much stronger than he was. Both creatures are friendly towards each other, but it's a pity that they stay a meter apart in such a large lake.
I think Birbwalker arrived at the same conclusion I did, that the best place to put a big creature in that lake was in that stretch. The crocodile does move around though, and so does the Lake Ilinalta Monster. I did basically rig the crocodile to behave as the apex of the lake.
Thanks for the explanation and I repeat once again - I've been waiting for this mod for ages :)
P.S. There is still room for a monster in the Sky Heaven Temple garden :)
P.S. 2. Are you going to add more monsters in the Sea of Spirits? (from the description I see that all 3 are practically close to each other, and the Sea is huge).
I'm working on three such mods. For Miraak, Harkon and the Wolf Spirits at the end of the Companions questline. The Wolf Spirit one is almost ready, and it turns it into an actual boss battle, something the Companions questline could really benefit from. The other two are more scripted, so they're a lot harder. I'm also looking into adding some elite Silver Hand member as a boss for the Companions questline, maybe adding something to the Twilight Sepulchre for the Thieves Guild questline, and strengthening Mercer Frey.
Well, that did not disappoint! Wandered in, umpteen undead, and that lighning certainly added to the battle. Then, there's part two. Thanks for making this.
