I just wanted to make the author aware that this is an error I get when running with DynDOLOD, I decided to follow whatever advice it gave me and edited the INI file (If the author wants to check it out) (might not even work but I just followed the advice from DynDOLOD): Link to Google Drive Link (Zip and Install Mod)
That's weird. I ran Dyndolod a few days ago without seeing this message. I'll take a look at your edited file. Thanks for posting.
Update: So I took a look at the original SWAP file. The Dyndolod lines were added so there would be consistency with distant windmills. Dyndolod names the distant models with the suffix _DynDOLOD_BASE. Removing the lines may mean that your windmills pop in with different models from the distant ones. I've noticed Dyndolod overstepping with its error messages recently and refusing to work with mods that don't actually cause errors (Simplicity of Snow for example). I'd say that you're safe to use either .ini regardless of what Dyndolod is telling you. Either way, I'll do some checking to see if I need to update the .ini going forward and thanks again for bringing this to my attention. Kudos to you for the report.
Just came across this myself. Since you can't complete generation with the dyndolod lines in the file, should we just disable the entries while generating? Not sure if that would cause an issue after re-enabling?
I'd disable while generating. See if you get pop in once you've generated. If you do, add the lines back in. There won't be any issues for your game from enabling/disabling the lines. Let me know how you get on.
I get the same error, i disable the mod, and not only this mod, because DynDoLOD is crying like a baby and goes me more and more on my nerv with all his error and warnings that take longer than the generation, and it runs fine, after reanabling, the windmill sails are all working for LOD.
Yeah, it's pretty frustrating and anti-community. I wish they'd make the errors skippable unless they actually are game-breaking or serious. The new version of the mod shouldn't give any errors now.
Hi I'm getting a (BASE formID not found) error with this mod when I check my po3_BaseObjectSwapper.log. Is this something to be concerned about? I cant find enough milk jugs to test if this mod works or not...
Can I have your permission to port your work to Bethesda.net? I can take care of the work with porting and updating as you update. You’ll have credit given to you, a link to this page, and a link to reach me on Discord or Reddit in case there are any issues, so as to not bother you with concerns that I can address. If you ever want your work removed, I can also do that if requested. Lmk! Even if it’s to say no, I’ll respect any response given. Thanks!
You can safely ignore that message. In older versions of BOS we had to specify a chance that the model would remain the same. That's not required now and so this message is just saying that the swap and the original model are the same. Safe to ignore and it won't affect your game in any way. Enjoy!
For some reason the wood holding my sails is really low res and grayish wood unlike your nice dark brown, did you change models too or should i download another mod for the windmill, i have SMIM
You can use both mods together as this one only affects the Windmill sails. Install Windmills have Windows first and then this mod. Overwrite if prompted. Enjoy!

Thanks for checking out the mod! Please make sure you read the installation information on the mod description page before installing.
I hope you dig the new windmill sails!

Amazing mod. I have one problem though. This shows up in BOS log:
[23:20:09:772] reading [Forms] : 1 conditions
[23:20:09:772] 4 form swaps found
[23:20:09:772] fail : [FarmhouseWindmillFan|FarmhouseWindmillFan|NONE|chanceR(99)] (BASE formID == SWAP formID)
how do I fix it?
Do I use this before or after that mod in vortex? Am unsure so I let this overwrite assorted mesh fixes for now...
