Just so other people are aware, this mod overwrites male body textures/normal maps so make sure your texture replacers load afterward. (Had some complaints on my Skysight Skins mod and looked at the files here.)

When i get real close to one of those giants (dead or alive) the fps goes to like 5-10 and i get powerpoint-like Skyrim. If i look away or take some distance from it the fps goes back to normal. I think this needs a bit more optimization. They look cool tho, would be nice for some skin variance, more gray-ish skin similar to the Dunmer.

The trouble is they are giant and therefore require giant textures. Add in fur (which is really 15+ additional meshes), and physics and yea its a big lift.

Almost 300k polys, damn... Would you consider optimizing them to a reasonable polycount?

The beard is a big factor, plus the fuzz. More reasonable poly variants coming soon.

yeah it would be nice if you optimize it 300k polys is too much. the other ones are fine tho

+1 on that. That's pretty damn dense. They look great though. Might as well add that mod that makes giants truly giant to make all those polys worthwhile in the meantime.

I love this mod so much, endorsed! Now I just need matching female giants and child giants to go along with this and I'll never need another giant mod ever again!

noticed that it has conflicted texture with The New Gentlement, who should take the higher priority?

The gentlemen. I need to make the file paths for his skin independent; it was an oversight on my point and totally save to overwrite.

There's a small question. Why does this mod cause my character's feet to turn black

    A little help.

Hi, i tryed to test your mod that looks really cool. Pb i don't know why, i only have vanilla giants showing up. I disabled the giants mod i have, even made a fresh start with alternate start.  Disabled also dyndolod though i think it has nothing to do with it.
Still vanilla giants, did i miss something ? Is there any incompatibilities ? Not even the models are showing up with purple textures, just vanilla giants.

    Thanks by advance

There shouldn't be, unless another mod directly edits the giant's mesh. Do you have anything that touches them? Dyndolod wouldn't impact it for sure.

Their meshes aren't overwritten. Maybe one the 1000 mods installed i have one, with no giants name in the title of the mod, with a custom path for its meshes and textures. Legacy of the dragonborn maybe?  I've checked all my creatures mod and armors. I had one mod hose textures were needed for an armor , but disable both of them, they had a regular path and i could see the conflict. I ahve extracted Legacy for editing, i have to check if it's it.
Thanks for the reply, keep you posted about legacy if i find something or not. :)

Working on a profile with only this mod active. Great job by the way ! Love it
Now i just have to find the culprit in my modlist.... Fetching my Sherlock outfit :)  Will take a f*#@ing while to track it down. When i will know what is incompatible , i'll let you know. :)
      Endorsed

      Found the nasty culprit !
Quicker than i fought, i noticed a female giant in a camp.... I didn't install mihail family giant ( don't remember the name exactly ) ...More informative console. Tadam => More Nasty Critters
Will have to patch it or delete the giants parts in this mod, cause yours, i know it's not vanilla accurate, and generally, what 's modifying  vanilla things and completly alter "the vision" the creators had, Not found of these things. But your mod is really cool.
Actually, to make it perfect, to blend in the lore, add the same kind of tattoos and scarifications :)

Thanks for the help and the mod mate :)

      But it's fun :)

Won't be able to patch nasty critters, will deleted some entrance in esp and meshes/textures concerned

The best giant mod I've ever seen. I always hated the generic Skyrim vanilla giants. Yours look awesome! Can't wait to see what you do next. Keep it up!
