Just tried the app but I was not somehow not working.
Now Skyrim always crashed to desktop if I want to sheath a weapon...
Stopping the skript via taskbar does not help, exiting the app does not help, even deleting the exe and reboot the PC does not help...
So I am unable to play Skyrim anymore :(

Anyone an idea? Does this script change any data in Skyrim that I might restore with a back-up?
Could not believe myself to be so stupid to download this exe...

LMAO I love how it's called a 'fix' but in the description it literally stated all the different ADDITIONAL bugs AND unnecessary processes that you need to do before you get it to work

and all the other posts even show that the thing doesn't work

    HAHAHAHAH

It didn't do anything. You've just made a program that lets you click 1 to use weapons, instead of clicking 7 and 8, but the bug still persists. My weapon is still removed from the favorite list once I switch to a spell.

I just use Q it is a lot quicker for me then to find and move my hand to the number key. This will not remove any items from your favorites, but if you have 50 favs then it will be a long list. hope this helps.

This didnt work for me. I hotkeyed as instructed with no change when pressing hotkey1. I am also very concerned with the fact that once started the running process cant be stopped and the file cant be deleted, the only way to do it was to reboot my computer.

Its a hotkey, just right click it in the taskbar then choose to "deactivate it". There is nothing really special in the program that prevents you from successfully executing the hotkey, unless a windows compatibility problem. Have not tested beyond windows 10.

Did you try to follow this?

For the dual wielding to work, you must do the following:
      1. Set your favorite left hand weapon to #8 (you should have two weapons of the same type)
      2. Set your favorite right hand weapon to #7 (Just one will do)
      3. Set #1 favorite to empty
      4. Run the autohotkey from the file you downloaded
      5. You can now switch to your dual wielding anytime by pressing 1.

Take note that you should have two weapons of the same type that is dual wielded to #8. That means, it should not be "enhanced" cause that is another bug in skyrim.

Ah that's probably what the problem was - I was using Bolars Oathblade with Insanitys Katana. Its a real shame I cant dual weild them, stupid Skyrim bugginess
Thank you so much for clearing this up for me. I wonder would it work if I consoled in another Oathblade and tried that, I will report on the success/failure, and failing that will have to use 2 plain weapons.

uh, so this is an exe file, not sure exactly how that will work. What if I want to uninstall this?

You would simply delete the .exe file.
You don't even put the .exe anywhere near your SkyrimSE folder, you would just run the app before launching the game.

It does not install anything, it just runs in the background. you may choose to deactivate it by going in to your taskbar, rightclick on the hotkey, then "disable" it from there.
