I made another type like this that does it for individual mods based on meta data. Good combo for this for those looking to just fix all version errors.
Maybe I did something wrong, but nothing seems to be happening.
I put the file into the plugins folder, I see "Version Fixer" in the dropdown lists of tools, but nothing happens when I click on it.
Is it working in the background with no indication or did it just fail to launch? A little info please. Also, I have the downloads still, is there a specific folder I need to put them in? I have the extracted folders in a folder labeled "Downloads" and the zip files elsewhere.
But I want to say, if I can get this to work, you are a godsend! These dates instead of version is driving me crazy!
If you have dates that means you have installed a mod outside nexus and its not using fomod, this plugin only works when you have downloaded the mod from nexus and uses a fomod, it only solves the problem when there is a mismatch between fomod version and the version on nexus.
Don't install through MO2, its not for the game, open your MO2 installation folder, inside a directory called plugins should be there, drop the content of the archive into that directory.
Yeah that's what I mentioned "MO2's plugin directory".
"Now, we just need a tool that allows translated mods to track the version of the nexus one, and we will be set" What do you mean by that? I don't use any translations so I have no idea.
ο»ΏGreetings, Souvik! Thank you very much for solving the bearded Nexusmods "version double input" problem - the requirement to manually enter the version of main mod instead of automatically displaying the latest version of the main file. ο»ΏI hope that this plugin could work for simple archives without FOMOD someday...
