Yeah I just got sidetracked by like 10 peeps tellin me "Oh outfits are not supported anymore, u have to roll back to SPID" bla bla bla, people spreading stupid rumors and I got sucked in instead of paying attention to the SPID changelog and the posts from the author.
Outfit support is NOT ended at ALL. It's just not equipping the outfits, like u said. They do still equip on a load tho, it works. I'm sorry. I hope peeps stop tripping about the SPID update soon
And thanks for your SPIDs, they're real simple, helpful, and just ooof a big time saver. Like there will never be enough. Ima still have to do like 100 SPID mods with the SPID xEdit script myself to have all the outfits I want SPIDified, but omg it makes a difference every little one you make, so I really appreciate ur SPIDs
SPID 7.2 is supposedly going to be the version that brings back auto equipping outfits.
Also thank you!
I'm going down the mods I have and making SPID mods for them. I'll have plenty to do. Also if your trying to get into SPID, I have a template in my AIO SPID that you can check out.
I just went and downloaded and opened the optional file. This is hella awesome! Everything's all written out to give me any idea of what I wanna do with the SPID! Thank u again! lol
Yaaaas iz useful to me. It's nice to have it all laid out like this even if the Official Guide has more stuff. I never liked that stuff with making an esp with an outfit thing tho. Oooof.
I like the SPID mods that A.) don't come with an esp because the mod already has an Outfit grouping or B.) they're easy enough for me to do it myself and edit the required outfit mod and give an outfit grouping.
I have way more fun editing the original outfit mod rather than have all these extra SPID esps floating around. lol
Omg not to mention I have to edit 99% of these outfit mods from the Nexus anyways, so I might as well give them outfit groups made from scratch. Have u seen the NAMES of these outfits in game? Holy crap it makes me puke and cringe at the same time. I am HIGHLY allergic to stupid names. I get an instant reaction lolz
Like "Fleet Knight"? Whaaa? Did someone seriously name an outfit in my game "Sotetta Necromancer"? I pretend I don't notice cuz no one else seems to complain about it lolol, but I do notice, and it's a lot of work going thru hundreds of outfit esps and naming things with a lil bit of thought and care, so I get it. I go online, I look up Elder Scrolls lore, mostly from Elder Scrolls Online, I look up locations and areas and the types of metals and crafting, and name items according to what I imagine it might have been created from or what country/race it originated from. So I may as well do Outfit grouping in every single one too. lol
And then I have to go balancing all the stats! Omg the stats are stupid with so many mods. Just ridiculous. If I did that in esp, it would take months. I use Proteus to assign permanent settings for Armor Rating and whatnot for many many items and keep the jsons or whatever it creates from save to save for that kind of stuff.
Sweeeet best one yet, but OMG nobody has done a Beyond Skyrim Bruma SPID of this. Do u think ur up for referencing Bruman bandits? 😯 Maybe itd be more worth it if u added that new Colovian plate armor to the SPID for Bruma too Idk, I juz cant believe none of the Imperial homeland armors on the Nexus are SPIDed to Bruma lol, but thx for this 😊
O snap wait a minute is this for the eslbof the main mod???? SPIDs dont need to come with a plugin anymore? Is this one special? Im so confused. Maybe u made a direct SPID? But I dont see a refernece in here to any esp...

Can you plzzzz make a version for the latest SPID v7. It seems 99% of the SPIDs on Nexus are just outdated and broken now.
The only feature that is different between the 2 versions is forced equipped outfits which will return in a later update.

The only real thing you'll have to do in xedit is make an outfit in a new esp if one does not exist already that you want to use.
I hope the template helps. I made it so I would have a convenient list.
