About this mod

ESL-Flagged set of 9 spells and 2 lesser powers from various schools of magic. Nords have no sense of humor about flatulence, but I do.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod brings 11 new additions to the magic menu.  A couple of them are absolutely ridiculous, but they have all served me well at one time or another.

Lesser Powers

Snipe
Bows and Crossbows have a 100% chance to score a critical hit for 10x normal critical damage for 30 seconds.

Has a 30 second cooldown.  Great for combat archery and one-shot stealth assassinations.

Temporal Collapse
Slows time for 10 seconds.

Has a 30 second cooldown.  This is the same effect as the spell by the same name from Spells Vol 1.  It simply frees up both hands for weapons or other spells.

Alteration - Expert

Plummet
Teleports targets to a higher elevation.

After being staggered and teleported straight up into the air, targets ragdoll back to the ground.  They do not land gracefully.

Conjuration - Adept

Conjure Ice Wraiths
Summons a pair of Ice Wraiths for 60 seconds.

They are tougher than the ones you find out in the world.  They do reasonable damage and draw aggro well.

Bloodlust Bow
Creates a magic bow that absorbs health and has a 40% chance to enrage targets, causing them to attack their own allies.  Sheathe it to dispel.

This bound bow's damage is respectable, but not exceptional.  When you see the frenzy hit effect, move to another target and allow the enraged dude a chance to do his part.  The base duration for the bow is 120 seconds and the frenzy effect lasts for 30 seconds.

Righteous Fury Axe
Creates a magic battleaxe for 120 seconds that deals silver damage and will ignite Undead or Werewolves. Sheathe it to dispel.

This is a bound battleaxe that is particularly effective against all types of undead and werewolves.  It is much less effective against everything else.

Conjuration - Expert

Subjugation Bow
Creates a magic bow that reanimates its victims. Sheathe it to dispel.

This bound bow has very high damage.  Enemies killed by it will automatically reanimate and serve you.  Corpses can be reanimated by shooting them.
The base duration of the bow is 120 seconds and the reanimated corpses last for 60 seconds.

Destruction - Master

Hellfire
A massive blast of fire that does very high damage and knocks targets to the ground.

It's pretty much a one-handed spell version of the Fire Breath shout, but much more powerful.  All enemies in or near its path are knocked off their feet.  It is fairly slow, but has a long range and a wide area of effect.  I made this one specifically for the mod Ryn's Karthspire.  There are always a few idiots who fall off the pier and get stuck underneath.  This spell roasts them without the need to go down after them.

Illusion - Apprentice

Social Pariah
He who smelt it, dealt it.

This is my favorite way to deal with Skyrim's various undesireable NPCs.  There is no need to sneak.  Your target will take all of the blame and will be attacked by everyone who doesn't flee.  Targets within the "blast radius" are weaker to fire damage for 10 seconds and can be heard coughing and choking.  It won't turn allies against one another, but it works for civilians like Nazeem. Seriously, watching several city guards murder a civilian for cutting the cheese while shouting things like, "You dare dishonor the legion?!", never gets old.  Just aim and fire at whoever is irritating you.  I have found countless uses for this one.  Get creative. 

One small thing to note,  you do not accrue a bounty for using this spell, but sometimes guards become hostile if you get too carried away with it.  I've had to decide whether to bolt or fight a few times.  Usually, though, you won't earn a criminal bounty for defending yourself.  After leaving the area and returning later, everything should be fine.  If it feels risky, just be ready to use the Clean Slate spell from Spells Vol 1.

Illusion - Expert

Beastly Diversion
Turns human targets into a random hostile creature that will attack anyone nearby.

Maintain some distance, because these things are not friendly.  Targets will be transformed into a skeever, wolf, sabre cat, or cave bear and attack their former allies.  Their inventory (i.e. armor, weapons, gold) can be looted from the animal carcass after it's been killed.

Restoration - Master

Resurrection
Resurrects the caster's target while preserving their inventory and relationship with the caster.

It is probably not a great idea to use this on unique vanilla NPCs.  Once their death has been registered in your save, weird stuff happens if you bring them back.  It's perfectly fine to use on mod followers, NPCs who aren't connected to quests, or enemies you just want to kill again.

All of my spells were made with my other mod Arcane Mastery in mind.  It adds scaling, follower immunity, and total immunity to the slow time effect.  They work fine without it, but they're better with it.

If you have Container Item Distributor installed, the spell tomes can be purchased from the college mages or court wizards.  The CID.ini file is included in the download.
If you do not have/want Container Item Distributor installed, the spell tomes can be crafted at a tanning rack.  I didn't want to make any edits to leveled lists to avoid compatibility issues.
