Yes. Engine fixes' setting changes "Quick Saves" to normal saves. This uses Auto Saves, or optionally normal saves. I'm using Engine Fixes myself, it's basically an essential mod that should always be in any mod list. I wouldn't have uploaded this mod if it wasn't compatible.
wow, great idea, you could create a "full save" version after the combat. It is for those who have quick save disabled because it breaks games with more than 3000 mods. Thanks in advance.
this will be very helpful, not only for tough battles but also for those tough random ctd's! 🤣 something I've read on similar mods though is that saving too close to combat is not good (for some reason) is there any proof or truth to this?
No Idea, but my mod has a customizable delay for saving after combat for this kind of scenario and you could also use the delay to loot before it saves.
