Man these sound super cool!! Definitely going to check it out.
An off topic question, do you know of any mods or how I can disable dungeon ambiance sounds (banging, clanking..)? I've tried several over the years, but have found nothing that actually works.
The ambience, not the player noises lol. I've tried the silent files from Sounds of Skyrim, but they don't work for a lot of the ambient noises, even the MCM options don't seem to work for me. Maybe I'm missing something, or something else is overwriting them.
there are so many ambience sounds including the dlcs so maybe you missed some? did you check every file? and i mean the files in these folders

check out the same folders i mentioned above in dlc01 and dlc02, also something with too many mods the effects slider in the audio settings seems to overwrite the ambience slider!
Ok, so I got it all worked out finally. I narrowed it down to a conflict between immersive sounds and sounds of skyrim. Did some re-arranging with the load order and replaced the amb files in dlc 1&2. So far the dungeons are nice and quiet now, no more of that annoying un-immersive sounds :) Just the draugr, water and random bats. Thank you so much for your help and patience.
not at all, even though this is new sfx my friends in discord still prefer Airgetlam so it's a matter of preference, can't say if any of the both is superior
This sounds wicked, but I'm wondering if it won't come off as too Sci-Fi sounding in-game? The teaser you provided has a lot going on and it's sort of difficult for me to isolate the individual sounds in my head. Anyone want to upload a video to this mod page so we can hear the sfx in action within Skyrim? <3
Hi ff7legend i just tested it and mostly castigate sounds play excluding a like 2-3 spells that use their own unique sounds which fits imo, but did you find any conflict i wasn't able to reproduce on my game, or something that must be patched?!

I know you said this should overwrite Airgetlam -Modern Magic Sounds Rework, but I also have your Airgetlam - Shouts SFX Addon. Should Castigate overwrite Airgetlam - Shouts SFX Addon?

That mod has several patches for it already - including one that fixes several CTDs. Thank you.
