This is the only version of RDO I'm planning on uploading for Skyrim Special Edition (SSE), barring any game-breaking bugs. The only "updates" I may release are patches for conflicting mods that get updated for SSE.
(The only other exception is if both SKSE and SkyUI are updated to work with SSE)

In truth, how RDO ended up is not like my original intentions. Without getting into the specifics, just know that this was supposed to be a resource for other modders, with various other options intended for users. Well, it all ended up getting squashed into a single plugin with a few patches. Not at all how I originally intended it to be.
So, I've decided to actually create the mod(s) I originally wanted. It'll take me a while, with real life and other potential modding obligations, but I've learned a lot when working on RDO that I didn't know when I first started the project in December of 2015, which will be of great benefit.

Hopefully you all have enjoyed using RDO over the last few months, and I truly appreciate the amount of support that all of you have shown for the mod. It really does mean a lot!

Yes, I'm aware that iAFT and AFT have been uploaded for SSE. I'll work on updating the patches and release them as soon as I've confirmed that they're working. Just give me some time.

Edit: There is seemingly an issue where mods from Skyrim Legendary Edition (SLE) are causing save game corruption in Special Edition (SE), if they were not saved in the new 64-bit CK for SE. This is the case for, most likely, a large number of mods available right now for SE.

RDO is NOT one of those mods. It was saved in the CK for SE, and is safe to use.

    Hey everyone,

Sorry for the absence this past month. There have been personal issues, along with university studies, that have been taking up most of my time. Now that the fall semester is over, I'll hopefully be able get back into modding more and provide better support (let's face it - I haven't done a very good job with that).

I'm also greatly considering another update to RDO (yes, I know, that contradicts what I previously said. As well as the name of the current version...). There are a few other vanilla audio bugs and some users requests that I would be including. I'm also possible looking into adding in-game configuration options (to replace the MCM from classic Skyrim) through a lesser power, or NPC dialogue.

    Regarding the Xbox One version:
I'm working on an update for both the PC and Xbox versions. So I will make the Xbox version available again once the update is finished.

It's a shame so many mods depends on this deprecated old mod. It is still a good mod don't get me wrong, but as the time passes having a 2018 mod in your lo will start to give you problems.

Excellent mod, but unfortunately it shows its age as it is dated and times are moving on, and I had to disable it because of the latest updates in the engine fine-tuning if you have serious play through it's actually inhibiting itself when you speak to the npc's, solving certain quests as you looking into newer mods. Looks like it needs to be repackaged, updated. Sry..just like some other mods also needs to be revisited.

Doesn't matter anymore for now..I need to quit, cannot do test runs as I try to update certain parts in the engine, and it leads to crap..I prolly remove everything and wait for IAN and the guys to straighten out SKSE first, get proper engine fixes and reassemble everything and start a new..maybe.. I'm tired of Beth playing with ppl..

If the guy can't give any examples then his comment is now irrelevant.

altean I do understand what you mean , in fact RDO is long gone , and I do not even understand why people keep adding this mod as a dependency when it is clear that is outdated ad stop following the game improvements that  came out during its live spam ... There are a lot of mods even more simple in this approach that are much more efficient in what this mod does ... As for opinions , they are what they are different points of view , but if people keep using mods from 2018 sooner or later will regret that , and altean , don't mind the usual trolling that comes inherent to any post we do in this site , it seems there are people that need to seek confrontation or this areas and forums to feel important ...So back on topic ...I agree with you it is far past its live spam this RDO Mod ...

Do you guys have alternatives to this mod that are not 'outdated' as you say. Please let me and others know, as some of us are coming back to Skyrim and haven't been keeping up with the community, thank you.

Try Nether's Follower Frameworkinstead. No patch is required and it is an overall upgrade and updated version of Immersive Amazing Followers. NFF is also a far more stable mod compared to IAF.

I really want to try this mod, but I am using the Serana Dialogue Add-On and I see it's crossed out in the instructions here, so I'm guessing this means it's not compatible. Will there be a patch at some point for the Serana Dialogue Ass-On? Thank you for your hard work!!

Yooo nice mod ! Was having trouble finding out if this adds Terek back in as I'm using Skyrim Cut Content Restoration v1.3.5 mod so I trawled through the ESP and it seems he's in there and can be kicked out if you talk to a guard or 'steward'. Leaving this here in case anyone is searching for this info like me as trawling google mentioned two different versions of RDO one with him added in and one without but that was long ago afaik.

TLDR: If you're using Skyrim Cut Content Restoration v1.3.5 mod you don't need Terek ESL

@cloudedtruth maybe worth mentioning on the main description page?

Works for me. Did you delete/disable the CRF esp if you don't have Cutting Room Floor? From the file description:
Patches for Cutting Room Floor (CRF) + Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch (USSEP), and USSEP only. Installs BOTH by default. Choose the patch that's correct for the mods you're using.

If anyone can help me out with some dialogue issues, I'd much appreciate it. I was able to make some custom followers that use the Unique voices of Brynjolf, Delvin, Karliah, Valerica, and Vex. These voices can be used for custom followers, dialogue appearing normally without doing the quests or meeting any requirements.

However, I can't seem to be able to get my Isran voiced follower to show any dialogue. I checked multiple times through the CK for mistakes, or missing factions/relationships. Still couldn't get them to talk, they just stare. Is there something I'm missing here?

EDIT: Found a solution, I made a personal patch to remove the actor check(replacing it with the usual voice type check), then deleted the quest and world cell requirements in the dialogue. I'm not 100% sure on what I was doing, but my Isran voiced follower seems functional.
