Hello everyone, I've just finished this fabulous mod without any problems. It's the second time I've done this mod, the first was on LE and at the end I had a problem with the audio where the music sounded like battle music, and now I've got the same problem despite the music bug patch. How can I fix this problem and find out if other people have had this annoying problem. Thank you I found a tip on the net but it doesn't work. It's as if the music is on a loop. It happens when you hand the referee his helmet for a happy ending.
After sleeping on the forgotten city Imust say it was rather enjoyable. One of the better fan made DLC. I feel like I must've missed out on a chunk of content because I was able to finish it in 3 hours.
GTS contain this quest, not my taste. It just not fit in skyrim. If you don't want to wast your time, the link is below. >>GOOD ENDING https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xygs2mz7xpQ
Totally fine if it’s not your thing. Fortunately most of us really enjoyed it, there's a reason it won an award - but sure, to each their own. But why trash something that someone has put his heart in and spent three years working on in his spare time, teaching himself how to mod and everything else? And why spoil the fun for others? If people want to know more about the possible endings, they will google it. If you're so worried about wasting your time, stop gaming...
I respect your ideas, but I don't agree with ruining other people's fun.If someone enjoys this, he will ignore my review. Like you said, they will google it for other endings. As for not playing it? It comes with the GTS collection, and it is forced to be unlocked at a specific level. When I spent two hours in this boring time cage and still couldn't finish it, I knew it was not to my taste. If it was an independent game, it would be perfect. But I won't buy it. But since I played it, I have the qualifications to comment. When you present something, all praise and criticism must be accepted.
A wonderful mod, but to be honest I haven't come back to it ever since the standalone game was released. Still, I definitely recommend and endorse it, and encourage any player who likes this mod to check out the game!
A few months ago, I re-installed Skyrim again after a few years. One of the first things I did was re-install The Forgotten City too so I could enter as soon as my level was high enough. It's still my favorite mod (next to LotD ofc) with one of the most beautiful well thought out intriguing storylines ever.
Should be okay on an existing playthrough as long as there isn't any other mod adding something to the location where the ruins should be. Recommended level for this is 20-30 to get the intended experience.
It's a part of the Nolvus modlist. (Around 3600+ mods) Was trying to roleplay as a Dwemer, and saw "oh Dwemer Ruin, perfect" and then found myself in this situation I couldn't get out of.
Oh and I just started the game. Huge buzz kill. Could have been more of a warning.
Furthermore, mere moments into the questline, the nerd in me took over. Why was there a Jarl giving orders? How did he become a Jarl? What swath of Territory was he granted by the High King or Emperor? You can't just take up an area in a castle and call yourself a Jarl. In order to be a Jarl, there also needs to be a large section of territory with settlements to collect levies & taxes from.
Not a fan of these custom questlines, that's forsure.
They're in their own world, with no one else even being aware of their existence. He proclaimed himself a Jarl because there was no one to tell him otherwise. That's all there is to it. It makes perfect sense.
you don't blame the mod author for your own mistakes, first of all they're not responsible for it being on a a collection, and secondly when you're downloading a collection no matter the size (that's a lazy option anyways) you still have to read and check what's in there it's no magical solution, you wanted to save yourself the time of picking mods yourself well at least confirm what's in there and check it out
Downloads a collection instead of making a manual mod list (Lazy) Doesn't bother to check what's in the collection first (Lazy) Creates a half-assed conclusion of a well-written, award-winning mod because they "didn't get it" after playing it for probably 5 minutes (Lazy) Goes to the Nexus comment section of said mod to complain about it being a "buzzkill" (Lazy)

It's strange that this problem hasn't been solved or there's something I haven't done!

Helps to know how to read. Also helps to look into the mod instead of just hitting the download button.
